English 11 Eleventh grade Research Paper Proposal for Research Paper Grace Miller Date of Submission: May 7, 2014 Proposed title of Research Paper: How an Apple changed the world Introduction For this research project I will be writing about what Steve jobs accomplished during his life. He developed many things that we all know and love one of which being the wonderfully designed IPhone. I also know that everywhere you go even when you just walk across the street you are bound to see a person using an IPhone. I know a lot about all the things he invented especially the line of IPods that can hold from one hundred to two thousand songs and apps because I have been using one since the day they came out. I don’t know as much on the other devices like the IPads, MacBook’s, Apple TV’s but I will by the end of this paper. Steve wasn’t just the founder of Apple but he also worked with a software company called NeXT which he later merged with Apple. He also part owner of Pixar and helped develop movies such as “Finding Nemo” and “Toy Story” This is some of what I will be talking about in my report. Explanation of the Significance This topic is important for me to write about because I am really into anything technology related. Ever since I was a little kid I have been really adept with all technology. I would rush home after school so I could play with the paint program on our old gateway computer. But what Steve jobs accomplished during his life is my life dream. One day, I hope that I could make a product such as influential and wide spread as an Apple product. What I hope to accomplish when writing about Steve’s accomplishments is simply this. I want to know everything about how he accomplished so very much during his life.
