My overall GPA in my undergraduate degree does not provide an accurate representation of my capability as a law school student. I started at San Francisco State University as a civil engineering major. I struggled with my engineering courses, which is demonstrated on my transcript in the fall of 2013. I did not change my major to find something that would be less challenging; I changed it to something that I was more interested in. Business administration (decision sciences) is a rigorous undergraduate program, but this program was more aligned with my interests and abilities. The years following my major change, specifically my final three semesters in 2016, is more representative of my potential as a student. In addition, in 2013, I began

As I became more involved with campus life, I couldn’t find a way to immerse myself in preparing for a career in law. While I knew why I wanted a law degree, I couldn’t conceptualize what I wanted to do with it. Prior to college life, my familiarity with the legal system was by way of internships with judges and lawyers. Clearly, that traditional route perked my interest but not my passion. Living with the athletes affirmed my interest in their culture. I began to immerse myself in subjects surro...
My excellence in my grades have resulted in a GPA of 3.7 as I feel that these are the results of all the days and nights that I have spent staying awake studying and completing assignments to the best of my abilities. For me, I consider that skills needed for the future are necessary to possess because it leads to the prosperity of a career. I have committed myself entirely to take all types of experience that will pursue my career as a Master of Business Administration, Finance and Operations. Through my commitment, it develops my leadership skills as I cherish them into my life as a road to success. I have proven that I have achieved a mass amount academically in addition to taking classes a year ahead of the rest of most juniors. Furthermore, this year which is my junior year I am taking a College Now class known as History of the Caribbean. It is an honor to be in a college level class in 11th grade and keep up with the rest of my life and academic
To do so, I will attend the law enforcement program at BOCES, a vocational school connected to the school in which I attend. And post high school, I intend apply to the State University of New York of Canton. While attending SUNY Canton, I’ll earn an AAS in criminal justice. The acceptance rate at SUNY Canton is 87%, thus I won’t have to worry about getting rejected. SUNY Canton’s high acceptance rate, however, is overshadowed with it’s incredibly low graduation rate, which is 32%. Since I’m a relatively competent student, I’ll be able to dodge the bullet on SUNY Canton’s low graduation rate and therefore continue to hop down my road to
Furthermore, I do not view my current undergraduate performance at Texas A&M as an accurate representation of my academic abilities. Nonetheless, I am content that this university has allowed me to gain countless lessons within a short period of time. Since recovering from my illness and cultivating a phenomenal study habit that is appropriate for the level of education that I am at, my GPA has been steadily improving. I took two classes at A&M University Summer 2016: Introduction to Logic and Politics in Media, and I received an A and B respectively. Logic, being considered a highly strenuous course to pass, I am elated that I was able to supersede my own expectations as well as my
Last Semester GPA was a 2.8. I know that is an acceptable grade point average. I will work hard this semester to do better. The grade point average makes me upset, makes not want to continue school.I will be lenient given the circumstances I made myself face. I have many reasons on why I received the grade point average that I did.I have not grown much since arriving on campus. What kept me on track in some of my classes was writing everything down on my agenda or calendar. Also I studied when it was convenient. I also completed my assignments on time and done them when ask to. What I did not do was studied when I needed to, ask for help when I needed it, have access to necessary materials, and have a work schedule to get everything done.
After I finished high school I had no idea what profession I should pursue, I did not know what appealed to me, what is it that I wanted? But my predicament was ephemeral since my father always had a plan for me which I was not aware of. My father had a dream in his eyes soaring high since his formative college years, the dream to study law. He could never fulfill his desire because of financial issues—my father hails from a farming family—my grandfather only had enough resources to properly clothe and feed his 6 children, the possibility of providing a higher education to one of them was far-fetched and incomprehensible to him. But my father was never dissuaded, he worked hard and made himself the man who would provide all the opportunities for his children. He became the man who would live his youth, and his dreams
I was hoping I could take this opportunity to explain my Bachelors GPA. I am quite happy with the GPA that I obtained during my Master’s degree. On the other hand, I wish I could have earned a better GPA with the Bachelor’s degree. I wanted to offer an explanation as to why it was lower than what I would like it to be.
My academic background consists of a four-year undergraduate education (major in international economics) and a two-year graduate education (major in finance). During my undergraduate program, I passed courses on calculus, intermediate microeconomics, intermediate macroeconomics, statistics, and econometrics. Within my graduate program I passed applied statistics, business research methods, modeling and decision analysis, and managerial economics. My GPA in bachelor’s degree program was 4.62/5.00, and my GPA in the master’s degree program was 86/100 (%).
While attaining a degree in your undergraduate studies, you must select a major that will be of some assistance and relevance to your particular law career. For example, if you want to be a corporate lawyer, you should major in business or if you want to be a judge, you should major in political science. After attaining your degree in your chosen major, you must attend law school.
I believe that law gives our society structure. The law is the foundation of society and without the law, we would live like barbarians; there will be anarchy with no rules to guide us. As society develops the law develops with it, which is proven in the psychological definition of crime which changes as societies views change. Studying Law will help me grasp an understanding of the laws which govern us. By making use of the powers of analysis, criticism, persuasion, oral and written communication, I can assist people in overcoming injustice. Becoming a Lawyer and furthering my education by going to Barrister School will lead me on a path to higher achievement, ideally become a Judge and earning my place in a Crown Court.
Learning is a continuous process and the day that you stop learning is the day that you start decreasing your rewards and lower levels of satisfaction. My ardent desire to acquire knowledge has motivated me to pursue higher studies at graduate level, and to take up a career in research in industry. I have taken this decision after carefully considering my academic background, profound interest in research and strong aptitude for problem solving.
Throughout my academic career, my test scores and transcripts have been a pretty accurate representation of my intellect and my work ethic. However, there are some issues involving my GPA and class rank.

As rightly said by Hippocrates “The life so short, the craft so long to learn”. I believe that a good mix of talent and dependability are a crucial and potent mix for success. Honing my skills with a Masters’ degree after completing my Bachelors’ Degree In Physiotherapy, I believe would help me develop an array of cross functional skills. Gaining technical expertise in the subject of physiotherapy and then whetting my skills during my internship, taught me to be precise and scrupulous towards every task at hand. Having successfully pursued this field for nearly 5 years, I believe that, if given a chance, these skills endow me with the knowledge to gain an opportunity to pursue higher studies at your prestigious university.
