My school just earned a grant of one million dollars! There are so many things we could get or do. If your school get a one million dollar grant, these are some things that you could get; Better Smart Boards, more choices of food, and better internet for students.
First of all, Smart Boards are a very useful tool in the classroom. Some teachers use them daily, Which causes them to wear down. dTechnology keeps updating but Smart Boards stay in the same version. Multiple kids cannot write at the same time. When the teacher needs something to be done fast on the Smart Board, they mean the first thirty minutes of class. Another flaw the a Smart board is the terrible calibration and the recalibration process. With the grant we can buy
Smart Boards with better calibration, Ones that multiple people can write on, and ones that last longer. As I can tell, you have probably thought of many things that you can get, but hear me out. I want more food choices at lunch. More food choices mean kids eat the healthy foods. Kids that eat the health foods perform better. Kids that perform better mean better school ranking. We could also get a restaurant. Something healthy like Subway. I eat only chicken patty every day and it is getting old. I hope you see that more or better food choices are the way to go! I mean, I would not mind a McDonalds. Another example of what you can do with the grant is better internet for students to use. Kids cannot get on social media without data or play online games. Better internet for students that do not have data is good because they would actually be able to do things on their devices! The computers wouldn’t be slow. Better internet is a must in the 21st century. So I hope you take some of these ideas into account. I’m glad I shared these things with you. Think about eradicating poverty in our country or providing all low-income high-school graduates the opportunity to go to college. For $200 billion, we could literally stuff our low-income schools with the technology they need to keep up with the speedy technical evolution we are wrapped up in. Instead, there is $200 billion going down the drain on nothing more than administrative waste.
First of all, the children are demonstrating a a level of academic achievement so there was a lot of effort put into their work to get into a good college. instead of children doing wrong they will be off the streets getting a good education and working hard to better themselves. Just think about how the rate of homeless would change. Children with a 3.0 GPA that have worked hard to maintain grades should be able to get free college tuition. Just think about how the number of students attending college will increase in a good way. It hard to think about many children grow up and dream about what they want to be but its all thrown away
IMSA is a school that offers a vast amount of opportunities for every student who attends. If I attend IMSA, I will use every resource available to obtain the best education possible, and I will do my best to make an impact on the IMSA learning environment. IMSA offers programs and clubs that do not exist at my school, and also offers challenging classes that I cannot take at my school. I plan to use these invaluable resources to the best of my ability.
Public schools are not in the business of making money. Their primary goal is to utilize the resources they are given efficiently, accounting for dollar spent. GRPS middle school athletics projects all of their expense in a worst case scenario. This allows the middle school athletics to properly forecast the budget just in case something goes wrong. A major concern that some districts have would be the cost. They believe that providing technology to younger students would be a waste of money and would not pay out in terms of advancement in education. Even though it costs money, increasing the technological availability of kids in school does not have to be an extreme overhaul. Just slight modifications can be made to improve this issue and help prepare students for a technological society. So the government just gave the school a huge 1 million dollar grant for the school to do whatever with and the money will more than likely be wasted. But the money should be used to do more things like help with more activities and way better food choices so I guess we have no say in what goes on with that money it really sucks but maybe this letter will help. So first what you could do with the money is just buy a playground or basketball court outside kids like me and others would love that it would let gym do more things and kids can get out there energy be less talkative in class that what should happen for the first part.

By just clicking on the board questions can be written in a variety of ways and in any color you want. The final piece of tech that is mainly used in the classroom is a variety of websites that provide tests,quizzes,and assignments that students can access with a certain username and password. If a student isn’t learning by looking at the board, maybe it can help them to watch a video, or another student’s explanation. Similarly, technology has wide learning experiences. There are ways of learning out there for every person to absorb knowledge in their own way. This makes sense for the reason that if you step into the student’s shoes being active is more intriguing than just listening to your teacher the entire time. Watching a video, for example, on photosynthesis it could be more helpful than just writing down notes about the topic. It is different to perceive an event happen, like watching a video, reading a book, or drawing pictures of all the steps, then just to just talk about it. Doing it in multiple ways will help students learn the topic in an improved way. I did not know before using the Technopedia site that there were so many different types of student response systems. I always just imagined the basic student response system with four A, B, C, and D buttons. However, the fact that you can have student response systems that allow for elaboration to open-response questions make this technological tool even more useful and effective. With so much pressure on standardized testing, this tool allows teachers to question and rank the knowledge of each individual student. Furthermore, because of the abilities of current Smartphones, the expensiveness of student response systems goes out the window in a classroom that allows cell phone use. I truly believe that both of these technologies can truly change and positively effect education.
