One of the major controversies in education that has been happening for years, and still happens to this day is the way the system is structured. Including technology into a learning environment could be a way of fixing this problem. It would facilitate teachers to educate students in various ways. So that no matter what their way of learning is the information will stick in their brain. Knowing that each child learns differently and being able to include multiple ways of showing one topic would form a feeling of belonging in all the students in the classroom. For example, when I was in school, and even today when I volunteer in elementary schools all the kids are taught the same way and are expected to learn. If a student isn’t learning by looking at the board, maybe it can help them to watch a video, or another student’s explanation. Similarly, technology has wide learning experiences. There are ways of learning out there for every person to absorb knowledge in their own way. According to Kim Bokyeong and Jung Jaeveob Baek “students prefer visual based lecturing over verbal-based lecturing”. This makes sense for the reason that if you step into the student’s shoes being active is more intriguing than just listening to your teacher the entire time. Watching a video, for example, on photosynthesis it could be more helpful than just writing down notes about the topic. It is different to perceive an event happen, like watching a video, reading a book, or drawing pictures of all the steps, then just to just talk about it. Doing it in multiple ways will help students learn the topic in an improved way. It’s beneficial for technology to be included in a classroom considering it can help every student learn equally, no matter in what way they learn. This can help students become less
