Based on my results of the Seven Habits Profile, I believe my leadership style is centered around being able to inspire others in the team to share the collective vision. I am able connect with team members and influence them positively through demonstrating empathy and understanding of their concerns and thoughts. I am able to build excitement and motivation in the team bringing everyone on board with the organization’s goals. If we were to take a look at my results of the Seven Habits Profile, you would see that my highest scoring sections were Emotional Bank Account, Think Win-Win, Synergize & Sharpen The Saw. This relates to the ability to constantly try and improve on oneself in different aspects of life. In terms of professionally, I am constantly trying to push myself forward through a thirst for learning. One most relevant example of that is my pursuit of an MBA in my field as I noticed that I had flaws and gaps in my experience and knowledge that can be filled in through such a degree. Another category that I scored highly in was Emotional Bank Account. This category relates to having and showing empathy and concern for others on the team. As a team leader, I always try to put myself in the shoes of team members, and how decisions may affect each one of them. At the same time, through trying to stay positive and create a comfortable culture in the team, I try to never speak negatively of anyone on the team as showing respect to others makes the team members more comfortable to openly share and express their opinions without any reservations. A third category that I scored highly on was Be Proactive. As an optimistic individual, I always try to look at the positive attributes in things and people. I also realize, that we have a great deal of control on the things that surround us and having a mindset to try to shape our surroundings to how we best see fit. As for things that are out of our control, there is no benefit in stressing over them. This is especially true if there is not much we can do to change the
