However the MHBS program offers a wider scope of training in mental health, including trauma, crisis stabilization, applied behavior analysis, and infant and early childhood mental health.

MHBS also offers practical occupational training, not offered in the BHS program, in case management, applied behavior analysis, psychopharmacology, crisis stabilization, functional behavioral assessments, integrated behavioral health care, infant & early childhood mental health, mental health first aid, applied suicide intervention skills training, and compassion fatigue.
Dr. Aubrey has been working with Dr. Kirk Bowden, Faculty Chair of Addictions and Substance Use Disorders at Rio Salado College. On February 7, 2017, after reviewing the MHBS outline of courses his provided his endorsement and stated, “what you have done looks excellent! It is very important to move forward with the changes.”
