Over the course of my life, I have believed that hard work and dedication will guide anyone through any situation. Education is the key to success, therefore I am pursuing my education further in life after high school. Similarly to anyone, I have goals. Goals that I set for myself long ago; today I am closer than I have ever been to achieving them, and each day they are further within my reach.
Continuing my education past high school is very important to me. I desire to experience new environments, understand how the world functions outside of our small town, and I am prepared for a lifetime of education. A lifetime of education will allow me to set new achievable goals for myself. My parents enforced education and encouraged me to always try my best throughout my childhood. I continue to have the same mindset throughout high school. As I continue my education I will cherish learning, my hobbies, my goals, and my favorable mindset.
After I graduate from high school, I will begin by pursuing a higher level of education by attending Castleton University in Vermont. At Castleton, I will spend five years earning a masters degree in Athletic Training. After I receive a degree in Athletic Training, I hope to continue my love for the body and attend graduate school. While completing my undergraduate degree, I will partake in clinical hours working with collegiate athletes on the campus. After I graduate, I am planning on moving to the far West and working at the Olympic Training Center. I desire to work specifically with skiers on the United States Cross Country Ski Team. Alongside my busy schedule, I may also complete a certificate in Outdoor Recreation while working as an Athletic Trainer. Managing to work at both the Training Center and at a ski lodge and venue would be something I would enjoy
Therefore, I will start dual enrollment at Motlow during high school and obtain a master's degree or doctorate at U.T. or M.T.S.U. I also desire to start a writing hobby, probably of the science-fiction genre. This way, I can live to the fullest.
I have multiple dreams for my future. I hope to enter a superior college that is not too expensive or far away from my home, like Caltech, Stanford, or Berkley. I would like to graduate from college with a master’s degree in electrical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in biology.
For example, having a better career could make it possible to have a better retirement and old age security. Furthermore, continuing education after high school would develop a better understanding of people, provide a great opportunity to meet a wide variety of people, and build a network of friends and contacts. Moreover, Higher education is not only important for career development; it clearly plays a role in personal development as well. Post-secondary education would be an assist in bringing us close to our family, friends, and society, and would make our lives vivid.

I have known from an early age that I’ve wanted to become a doctor. Helping people has always been a passion of mine. When I was younger, I wanted to be a veterinarian. However, after working with young children I have found that I love working with them, and have a connection with children. Currently, I am interested in becoming either a neonatologist or a general pediatrician so I can continue to work with young children.
My ultimate value is my family. My vision for my own self is to live happily with my family in the future. I love to spend my spare time with them. Hanging around with friends and family make me feel well. I love to play on computer. I also love to play with the magical numbers. I like surfing on the internet, exploring new things, reading articles related with health, life, and economic events such as the stock market, financial companies, investment corporations, etc. I think being a citizen of a country, we should somewhat at different aspects of life to better know how well or bad the economy of our country is experiencing. My goal is to become a businessperson. I believe doing business is an important way to improve the economy of a nation. I did a research on two different careers. However, they are sort of having a relation with each other. Both of them are in the business field – accounting and financial analyzing.
College is the main goal of my life. It is a life dream to go to college to get a degree and get a successful job. Everything that I have done until this point is to get to college. During my senior year I plan to apply to many colleges and to take the SAT's to get into college. My GPA and SAT scores will be crucial for me to get into college. With college I will further my business career, making more successful in the field I enjoy doing.
The next set of goal setting importance is my personal goals with the first being to over come the obstacles associated with returning to school.
After college, I hope to fulfill not only my dream, but also my parent’s dream, of seeing myself become a successful dentist or doctor so I could accomplish all of my other life goals. I hope to be able to build a life and future for myself in Rutgers.
My short-term career goal expectation is to work as a paralegal and this is the job that I ‘am focusing on at this point. I plan on earning my paralegal certificate and work at a law firm that will provide me with the proper training. I plan to take the law school admission test to enroll in law school while I ‘am working as a paralegal. Also, I ‘am going to work full-time as a paralegal and attend law school as a part-time student to help me balance my life. Furthermore, I think being a full-time paralegal will help me pay my bills and my student loans.

I have always been brought up knowing that education was going to be my ticket out the door. Being a child, of two immigrant parents from Ghana, West Africa, I knew that my parents wanted me to have the best education possible. From my mother teaching me how to read, when she herself barely can understand the English language and going out her way to get a tutor for us. From my mother, making me recite my multiplication facts every night before I went to sleep as a way to reinforce concepts learned in school. Summer days that were filled with trips to Barnes and Nobles with my mother to get math and reading skills books.
Education has always been a primary concern for my parents, who taught me that if I need to succeed in life, I have to be educated. Following their guide, I have always valued and tried to get the most of any educational opportunity I have had. Having grown up in a business family, I have always been interested in focusing my career in the business field. My Mother and Father own their own company, and they are constantly talking about business, which has inspired me to follow their path. When my parents retire, they want me to carry on their legacy.
1. 1. Completing my Bachelor’s degree is my short one term academic goal. My short-term career goal is during the summer to gain an internship with Pilgrim’s Pride. Not only am I planning on taking an internship with Pilgrim's Pride, but also I am hoping to secure a season job as Summer Inclusion Counselor.
My ideal career would allow me to do something that interests me. I enjoy working with words and with numbers. I've also had success in the areas of technology and customer service.
I have had a desire since I was a young girl to read all the books in the world and absorb as much knowledge that I possibly can. My grandpa always says that "one can take anything away from an individual however, no one can take away your education". Education will stay away with an individual for the rest of their lives and it is the basis of what allows humans to understand the world around them. For me, the desire to learn about everything is so strong that this encourages me to continue my education as much as I can. Going to post secondary will provide an opportunity for me to learn and explore the world and society that surrounds me.
