Personality Test
Personality Test offer an insight into possible career choices or at least it tries to. Some feel that this is a very effective way to determine what the best fit for them is as far as a career, but is this the best determining factor for a career choice? It's a start. I feel that this test can have some validity in helping an individual with a career choice, but it is not exactly the way an individual should chose a career.
Personality test are used in career counseling as a means to help determine the right candidate for the job as well as helping the individual get a good idea as to what they may be good at. The questions and answers to these test are not necessarily direct because they are designed on more of a psychological level. Candidates may answer the questions thinking that is going to be what the company my wants, thus making the test not that effective in some cases. In conclusion, personality test could be a valuable tool to a young adult who is in the process of choosing a career. This experience has been eye opening and I think anyone that does it can only add assurance to what someone is seeking to do for a career, but it does not necessarily mean that the candidate has to choose the careers given to them as a result of the personality test, such as myself. Someone like me can only enhance what they have to get more sound in their career and strengthen their weaknesses if they want to get better in their career based on these test results.
