Growing up as a perfectionist, experiencing failure wasn’t one of my favorite things to do. Being a straight A and B student, failing Spanish not once, but two times definitely made me realize a couple of things: Every subject isn’t for everyone. Not to get so down on myself and except help when it is being given. In highschool some people excel in areas that others might struggle in. this doesn’t mean that we are lacking, it simply means that our talents can be more efficient in other subjects. Like in my case, I do really great in English but when it comes to Spanish, not so much. Because we all have these certain areas we excel at more than others, I learned not to get down on myself so much because as soon as I started doing that it was
During 8th grade, I got called out to the counselor’s office. Entering the counselor’s office, the counselor told me that I was in the honors class. For the past 4 years, I have worked so hard to be in the honors program, again. I started to take advanced classes and then I started to take dual credit classes my junior year. If it wasn’t for being in the honors program my 8th grade year, I don’t think I would be as worried about my grades as I am now.
Going off the numbers, I am the best at reading, then science, math, and finally English. I am exceptional at the tasks I do, as long as I am intrigued with them. When I can not relate to the task, I become distracted and easily lose motivation. It those times, my work becomes blemished.

Through my high school activities I have learned three virtues that I have deemed necessary to achieve my goal, passion, self-discipline, and perseverance.
I am pleased to acknowledge and affirm these strengths. I hope to never let these become obstacles to anything I am trying to attain. I find that it is always good to be aware of who you truly are and I plan to use this newly discovered knowledge to the best of my ability.

It is vital when looking for a new job or career that you know what skills and qualities you have. Knowing what you can or cannot do will alter what employers and positions there are for you. Throughout my higher education at Full Sail University, I have been able to overcome weaknesses that I have and raised other strengths beyond what I thought I could. Matching what you are good at and not so good at can help shape what your life path will be. High school is meant to be the time of your life, but for most seniors just like me it can be some of the most emotional and crazy time. The things in my past make me who I am today, and the things I do now are the first footsteps into the future. Let’s flash back in time to before our college days. Back to then we had lunch trays filled with rubbery chicken nuggets, stale pizza, and bags of chocolate milk. A backpack stacked with Lisa Frank note books, flexi rulers, and color changing pencils. The times where we thought we wouldn’t make it out alive, but we did. Through all the trials and tribulations school helped build who I am today and shaped my future. From basic functions all the way to life-long lessons that helped shape my character.
I would always tell myself at swimming practice and at lifting with the high school swim team that to be greater than people I needed to be working harder than them, but something that went through my mind was that I wished to roll back to yesterday because the pace was a little slower. Those efforts and the goal for reaching of being better than others at things that I was not as good made me better as a person and to stop thinking about “oh I wish I could back to yesterday, because it was easier”, but to think about the

In this paper, I will identify abilities and skills that I possess that contribute positively in my work environment, in my personal life, and in my learning team. I will also identify personal areas that need improvement, and outline a plan of action for improvement.
