Essay Final Song Finally, as the last final essay of the school year, as the last essay of all middle school year. This essay is about a song that represents my eighth grade year, or a song that reminds me of eighth grade year. The song I chose for this final essay is “Roll Back”, now I’m not the type of guy who listens to lyric songs, but I do sometimes. The type of songs I listen to are most of the time instrumental or just don’t have lyrics. This is why the assignment is hard for me to do. “Roll Back” is the type of song that falls in between, with only four sentences throughout the entire song. I chose this song for many reasons, one is that I couldn’t think of any other close to my school year. My first reason why the song connects to my eighth grade school year is the sentence in the song where it says “roll back to yesterday”. This is something that went through my mind a lot throughout this year, thinking about having an easier life, because being a teenager is a hard time well for me it is.
