This quote shows that your choices create opportunities to learn lessons and influence your choices and behavior with the interactions you make.
The First thing about me is that I totally look up to Josh, I have known him since I was two, and he has been a part of my life that I look forward to even now. I used to live in Utah, for about five years, until fourth grade. The experience I am going to write about is when I learned how to do a grounded front flip, called a front tuck. That has given me courage to do other things, and it was Because of his influence that gave me the courage. To introduce who Josh is, he lives in Lehi, Utah, where I used to live. He is fifteen, and goes to the high school there. He has been my friend since I was two. The experience this essay is about is the time I learned to do a front tuck. It was last summer, and we were down in Utah to visit family. Josh had wanted to try a back tuck, and wanted me to join him. So we both practiced on the tramp until we could do both front and back flips in one jump, then laid a mat down on the grass and got up the courage to do it on the ground. I relied on the courage that he had and tried it right after he did a back tuck successfully on the ground, landing on his knees, and now he can do a back tuck,

Setting goals can help you accomplish tasks that don’t happen by chance. They are very important, as is courage, friendship, and commitment. When I started the project of doing a front tuck, not a single lesson that could be learned from this was that I was going to hurt myself. But when we started this paper, I looked deeper, and found many lessons that I could take from it, and realized that almost anything can have a lesson in it if you search deep enough. So I chose to take the lessons that I learned from this, and use them in my
“May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears”-Nelson Mandela. This quote from Mandela relates to the novel Tangerine by Edward Bloor. The characters in Tangerine have you make difficult choices in their lives, but the choices don’t always end up right. Erik Fisher’s choices affect Paul in the novel by causing Paul to have vision loss, lose a friend, and lose self esteem.

It was easy to fall into the trap of thinking that if I had failed then I wouldn’t ever be able to properly do it. With practice, I was able to learn how to parallel park. Even though, there were times when I wanted to quit because I kept failing. I learned that even when you feel like you can’t do it again that sometimes it’s best to just take a break. Sometimes it’s good to just walk away from the situation, do something else , and come back. I’ve learned that if you take a break, you may be able to come back and do better than before. I’ve also learned how to approach failure in the
I believe this because everyone should do what they fell is the right think or do what they want to do not based on what other people are doing around them. This is also an accurate quote because it relates to many things in the novel and in everyday life for example just people others are peer pressuring you into something because it is the ‘cool’ think to do you don't have to do it if you think its not the right think to do and people shouldn't neglect you or make you fell left out based on your decision on weather to do what the popular thing
Actions are caused by ones personal choices, thus actions indeed speak louder than words. In today's society, people make a variety of decisions throughout their everyday lives. These decisions often lead to different outcomes and sometimes, they may cause a person to suffer consequences from his/her choices. Some people believe that everything happens for a reason; that everything happens because of fate. Others beg to differ as they consider that their decisions drive what fate has for them in the future and so they think that they are in control of their own destiny.
Many books have multiple life lessons that people can learn to. One of the life lessons that this book indicates is
“Change is hard because people overestimate the value of what they have and underestimate the value of what they may gain by giving that up.”
Jon Bielecki once said “Your circle of influence dictates your future.” This means that what influences us can affect our identities and ultimately change our futures and lives. People create identities based on themselves but ultimately their identities are affected by our environments and the people we associate with.
When you take control of your life, you become aware that everything you do makes an impact - good or bad.
I’ve had many memoirs in my lifetime. But by far this one is the best one. This memoir happens during freshman year of high school. It was the start of soccer tryout and I was super scared and nervous. I did not know what to excited of tryouts because I didn't know if I was good enough to play soccer or what you even what you did during tryout. Later on that day I meet the coaches and the team that I Would be trying out for. It wasn't as bad as I thought it might be but I still wasn't comfortable at the tryout yet.
I have seen this quote many times before and it has always stood out to me. It makes you rethink a lot of your choices in your life. It makes you want to go out and do something crazy. It doesn’t even have to be that but it should just inspire you to go out and experience life and all it has to offer.
Childhood dreams are often kicked to the curb and forgotten because “reality” isn’t that much fun. I never got the training or coaching that I wanted or as most people would believe, needed to successfully live my childhood dream. However, At eight years old, I learned to do a backflip on the trampoline. And I perfected it, to the point where I could do 30 back flips consecutively. I did my first backflip on the ground when I was only eleven years old. Fast forward one year and I got my double backflip on the trampoline. I have lived my childhood dream and continue to do so. This is something many people fail to do. Whether it’s their childhood dream or any other, they fail to ever live it, and are often told to forget about it and do something realistic.
All through life, we experience various occasions when decision-making become necessary. A number of them present themselves in difficult forms and at crucial points. Most of the verdict we take will eventually figure and describe our track of lives. These are what we refer to as lessons of life. Choices never present themselves in an easy way. In some instance we are always forced to pay a price to achieve something. This implies that we are trading for an outcome we are seeking.
It's better to take risks to make life more fun. If we didn't take risks in life we wouldn’t have any fun and we wouldn't have any inventions and the world would be in stone age again, But we did take risks and now we are venturing into the future. I Know that if we didn't take risks our world would be safer, but the people that took a risk made history like Thomas Edison who made the first light bulb. It is better to take risks and make mistakes because you can learn from your mistakes, you can achieve more, and you can learn about what you like and dislike.
