What was your favorite part of 2017? I had many ups and downs this year, but one of my favorite things was when we took a family trip out West. We went to so many fun places. I loved going whitewater river rafting in Cody, Wyoming. Horseback riding in Togwotee was so fun, and the mountains were beautiful. We drove for hours and hours in the car! Going out West was probably the highlight of my year. Cody is a town in Wyoming, and it’s so beautiful. All of the mountains and wilderness are just amazing! I honestly never wanted to go home. We did lots of fun things there. One of my favorite things that we did was whitewater river rafting. The water was freezing cold! The only part that I didn’t really like about it was that I had to sit in between
The car ride was always the longest but we all knew it was worth it. We arrived at the campsite ready to finally get out of the small compacted car. We unpacked everything and still had time to go hangout around the campsite before the sun went down so my brother and I went fishing while my sister and mom went down to the playground. When we got back the second family had arrived.

The best trip I have ever been on is when my mother, stepdad and I went ice fishing last year.the lake we was poinsett lake which is here in South Dakota up north and east of estelline. It was a very fun and successful trip. It was especially fun because we had just bought an new Polaris four wheeler that we took on the trip.
When my parents and I left for Louisiana, I was so happy. The reason why we were going there was to see Duck Commander. We had to go through Arkansas and Mississippi and I think Tennessee to get to Louisiana. It was a 2 day drive and my butt was hurting, but I got to play music in the car so it was alright. I was so happy when we finally got to West Monroe, LA.
I went to colorado with my family last year we went horseback riding through the mountains, I thought it was awesome. I felt good after we went.@
My first trip to Lake Chelan was the best way I've ever spent a Labor Day weekend. My best friend's family invited me to go with them and although there were some downs, the ups were even better. This trip was important because I have never had more fun in my life!
My favorite memory was when I went with my family to colorado two years ago. I liked drive to the town , in the town, and on the way back. We had some fun times on the trip. We went to a alien jerky place. We also stayed at a hotel. Also we went on a boat ride. We had dinner for my brother’s birthday. Next we played laser tag. Finally we stopped at the meteor crater.
For two consecutive summers I went to Copper Mountain, Colorado. A village feeling area of Colorado. I would go with my family, which includes my mother, my father, my brother and sister and my grandparents. My grandparents would rent a condo for my family and we would stay for one week. While we were there we relaxed and did as many engaging things as we could. I understand why my grandma and grandpa loved taking us. The summers that I went to Copper Mountain are summers that I will never forget.
My father, brother and, I went up north so we could ride the dirt bikes with my father’s friends from work. I was as happy as a kid eating ice cream that we were going up north. The 1st day we went on some of the dirt roads and it was fun. Then we got back to the cabin and after a few hours we went back out again. We went to a lake to view and it looked nice. Then we got back and had a fire and played some games and went to bed.
My favorite family vacation happened when we went to Disney. I spent a lot of time with my family and friends. I also went to Harry Potter World. My favorite pictures I got there were my ones with Peter Pan, and the conductor
We went up to the mountains with my youth group and stayed at a house near Boone, NC. The first thing I remember about this trip was how almost all of the houses in the mountains were hidden from sight. When driving down the road, they were so hidden by trees, they could barely be seen. Many of my friends went on this trip as well. We frequently went fishing in a nearby pond after dinner. I tried two new things while I was there. The first thing that we tried new was skiing at Sugar Mountain. Skiing was hard at first but then I got the hang of it. I never left the beginner hill because the rest of the hills made me nervous to go down. As the ski day went on, the once soft white manmade snow started to turn into ice. At that point I stopped skiing because it simply became too dangerous for me. The second new thing that I tried was kayaking. Kayaking was definitely the most fun thing I did while I was there. I simply say this because I truly enjoyed it. Riding down a river in a kayak can be so peaceful. While riding down a nearby river I really began to see how beautiful it was in the mountains. I loved hearing the sound of the moving water on either side of me. Catching the right currents at the right time really made kayaking fun for me. Being able to kayak with my friends and family only made the new experience even more
A few years ago when I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with my mom, dad and sister was the most memorable vacation I had gone on. We had went two summers ago when I was fifteen. I got to do somethings that I had never done, and things I may not get to do again. I got to go parasailing, went on a banana boat ride and went on the Sky Wheel. Parasailing was made my trip so great.
I still remember the day I went to Hawaii. It was the best experience ever.The best part about it is that I spent the whole time with my family and my best friend Joe.
