When I was 12 years my parents and I went on a trip to California. It was the best experience in the world! We went to San Francisco, Monterey, and Yosemite National Park. I had so much fun and will remember it forever. Going to California was a bit of a rocky start though because I had forgotten my jacket at home and it was supposed to snow while we were in Yosemite. My mom and I ran into Old Navy and grabbed a lightweight pullover hoping that would be enough. After fixing the fashion emergency we drove to the airport, hopped on the airplane, and landed in San Francisco late that night. The next morning we woke up and started our explorations of San Francisco. First we biked across the Golden Gate Bridge. It was so much fun, but
it was kind of tricky because everybody and their cousin had decided to do the same thing that day! Once we finally crossed the bridge we biked into Sausalito and stayed there for a little while. It came time for us to catch the ferry back to San Francisco, but we realized that we had missed our ferry! So we waited about 30 more minutes for another ferry to come. Finally, we got back to San Francisco, grabbed some dinner, and hit the hay for the night. The next day we went to Ghirardelli square, Lombard Street, Pier 39, and to the row of houses that look like the Full house houses. While in San Francisco we realized that snow in Yosemite, which is where we were heading next, is a little different that snow in Columbia, South Carolina. Knowing that we headed to a jacket shop to get some warmer clothes. Next we drove up to Yosemite National Park. Yosemite was totally different that San Francisco. It had beautiful trails and mountains and it was filled with wildlife. The first day in Yosemite we hiked Mist Falls trail, which was amazing! The next day we woke up and looked outside to see a blanket of snow covering the ground. Naturally, we bundled up and ran outside to have a snowball fight. It was all fun and games until I accidentally threw a snowball into the car. Oops! After getting that cleaned up we cautiously drove down the steep mountain and into town. We had lunch at a delicious restaurant and saw deer outside the window. Next we went to a museum and did a small hike to a waterfall. While on the hike I tripped and fell into a puddle! After that, we went back home and fell asleep since we had to get up the next morning and head to Monterey. Driving to Monterey was the prettiest drive I have ever been on! We saw the beach, but we also saw the forest. Once we got to Monterey we went to Pebble Beach golf course and took some pretty pictures. After that it was getting late so we decided to grab some dinner and go to bed so we could enjoy the full day of fun we had planned for the tomorrow. The next day we woke up and headed out the door to go explore. First we went Fishermans Warf, and walked around, then we went to the aquarium. The aquarium was my favorite part because we saw so many cool animals. We also met this man and he showed us a seal that was underneath the board walk. Our trip to California was super fun and a memory that I will never forget. I think my favorite part of the trip was when we were in San Francisco, because I loved biking the Golden Gate and going to Lombard Street. Yosemite and Monterey were really pretty and they were very fun to explore. Going to California was the best memory!
When I was about 10 years old, my mom took me to a roller coaster theme park in Massachusetts. I was terribly afraid of the huge roller coaster that appeared in front of me, and while I waited in line, the anxiety of waiting to die in a roller coaster made my heart beat through my chest. The huge coaster went up and down and up and down, and even though my mom continuously asked me if I was sure that I wanted to go, I repeatedly said yes. I wanted to make it clear that I was a man, not a crying baby. Stepping onto that roller coaster was what I remember the most.

My most memorable trip of my life was when I first moved to the United States in 2008. I was eight years old when I moved from the small city of HaIfa in Israel to the big bay area. Israel can fit into just California about 20 times! I moved here wIth my mom ,dad ,older brother ,and younger sIster. There were many big obstacles and trips my famIly knew we had to take in order to feel more comfortable and at home here In the United States.
“Hotel California” by The Eagles has been the recipient of much speculation since its release in 1976. Although many other interpretations exist including some which claim this song to be referencing drugs, much evidence suggests that “Hotel California” is, at least partly, making a statement about the lifestyle of drug and alcohol users particularly in the large cities of California. As with many songs, duality of meaning exists in “Hotel California.”
My best friend and I were so excited, we were going to Six Flags some where we haven’t been in years. Around this time we were twelve years old and thought we were the most adventurous people in the world. The night before going to Six Flags I spent the night over her house. My best friend and I couldn’t stop talking about the rides we would get on, which one would be first and what we were going to eat.

California is one of the most world greatest tourist spots. It is known for its Walk of fame and famous actors, directors and so on stars embedded into the sidewalk, also its winery tours and beaches and a number of other things. It was a piece of the world I generally wanted to go. California has regularly been on my bucket list and a couple of different friends of mines, so we chose to arrange a getaway. December 22nd till December 29th I booked my flight. I bought my ticket on Priceline, which had costs that were rational. I was incredibly wound up, thinking about all the amazing things I could do once I arrived and I couldn't hold up to get to California.
On February 29th of this year I went on an unforgettable adventure to Los Angles, California. It was a new experience for me because I have not been to the heart of L.A before, let alone anywhere that far with just me and my friends. The only other time I was ever close to getting an experience as such was with my basketball team when we travelled, but even that was supervised by the coach. This was an all-out trip, starting from just the way we chose to get there.
When I was thirteen years old my family and I went on a vacation to Las Vegas NV. The parents went out to a concert that night so my siblings and me were home alone.
When I was a young child I would love to hear my parents tell me that we were going on a trip. I would be full of excitement, because I knew that we would be going to a place that I had never seen before. My parents, my brother, and I would pack our luggage and venture out in our small gray minivan. Three of my most cherished memories in our minivan are when we went to Disney World, the beach, and the mountains.
Every year me and my Family would go to Florida for vacation, it is the best the whole family would make it a point to go and spend time with everyone. My Uncle had a condo down in Indian Rocks and that is where we would all stay, it didn’t matter if some of us had to sleep on the floor. We always make sure to go to the best places around such as Crabby Bills, which is a really good seafood restaurant. John’s Past, which is a strip mall with all of these little stores with anything and everything you could ever need for the beach. The best thing about going on this trip wasn’t the food or the shopping, but my favorite was the first time I went on the early morning fishing trip with all the guys.
My unforgettable experience is when I was in Singapore with my friends. That was my very first ever trip to out of country with my friends. I went there on May, 25th 2016 when I was still in high school at 2nd grade. At first, my parents didn’t allow me to go there because we were all only girls and there wasn’t any parents have come too. But after I begged my parents really hard, and fortunately one of my friend’s mom have come too, so they allowed me. One of the reason why my parents allowed me was because those of my friends were my elementary school friends so my parents had already know them well and the mother of my friend was also the friend of my parents so they thought that I would be safe when I was in Singapore.
My favorite place as a child was County Park Lake. When we had family picnics because we all got together and there was great food and kids playing and the adults playing horse-shoes and could tell there was love for one another. There was no other place like this when I was a child. Some of my fondest memories was at that picnic site we should all have memories likes those.
My most memorable family vacation took place two years ago. We went to Corsica, a French island situated in the south of France right next to Italy. I remembered waking up early excited to visit this new land. Used to take long flights, I was surprised to arrive to the destination after a one-hour flight. Even though the flight was short for me, it was stressful for my mom, she has never felt secured in a plane, probably due to the fact that she is afraid of height. When finally arrived at the destination, the dry and warm weather was there to welcome us. We all felt relief, and knew that this was the beginning of the summer. Excited, we had a lot of activities planned for the few weeks, me and my father could not wait to dive in the clear
Going on a road trip with my family means the world to me. We drove to another state during summer vacation, and it was by far the best road trip I have ever been on. My family and I were able to go to many fun places. We ate so many exotic and delicious foods as well. Yet most importantly, I spent time with my family and their friends. It was the day when my family and I went to California for our summer vacation.
