My father, brother and, I went up north so we could ride the dirt bikes with my father’s friends from work. I was as happy as a kid eating ice cream that we were going up north. The 1st day we went on some of the dirt roads and it was fun. Then we got back to the cabin and after a few hours we went back out again. We went to a lake to view and it looked nice. Then we got back and had a fire and played some games and went to bed. The second day we went on some of the dirt roads again and it was not as fun so I asked my dad, “Could I challenge myself with the dirt bike.” My dad said, “Sure why not you have been doing good so yes.” my dad said. We went on the sand and it was soft as my dog’s fur and we were about ¼ of a mile into the sand
and I hit a tree and my pegs stabbed into my leg. Surprisingly I was not crying and the birk bike burned my leg also. We sat there for 10 minutes to make sure I was alright After I was alright I hopped on my dirt bike and I was riding again. Then 2 minutes later I fell again and hit a bump and slowly fell off and landed face first on the ground and I started laughing, hard. After that we kept riding and went to fill up the gas tanks at the gas station. We tried to find a good restaurant and luckily we did find a good restaurant. We went all around the town and we left at 10:00 A.M and got back to the cabin at 6:00 P.M. After that we had some hot dogs that we roasted over the fire. Later that night we went back out at 10:00 P.M. and it was super dark but we had lights. When we got back we went inside the cabin and watched Insurgent. The 3rd day we went out on the sand and I was doing awesome. We were trying to find a sand pit. We did find the sand pit and I almost died because I stalled and the bike almost fell backwards and if it did I would have broke my neck. After we got out of the sand pit we were riding to see the lake and I was going through huge puddles and the water was going over my head. Then we went to a restaurant to eat and they had hooks so we could hang the gear up on the hooks. We went back and one of my dads friends left. We kept riding and I went off the road and went in between two trees that did not look big enough for the bike handle bars. After the last day I have gotten a lot better dirt biking. This is the story of the time I fell off of my dirt bike. I learned not to give up and keep trying.
The company Dirt Bikes is facing the same current dilemma that many companies these days face. Trying to continue to make a profit in this economy and stay competitive and up to date with technology and its ever-changing advancements is no easy task these days. Dirt Bikes has concerns over their current costs of communications between their employees and departments, they are looking to advance their ability to keep up with the developments in the motorcycle industry and the global economy surrounding their organization. There are many considerations their organization must consider when implementing an entire new technology infrastructure. They must consider the overall costs, how the entire infrastructure will affect their organization as well as their employees. They must consider the time and effort it will take to train all their employees on the new technology, including the costs of that training, as well.
“Short track racing is always been a way of life and not just a hobby” Bryan Clauson. There's always been people into dirt racing as it is personally my favorite form of racing. This sport isn't all to safe as there has been a massive tragedy in 2016 of Bryan Clauson as he died at the Belleville Midget Nationals. This tragedy sent a shockwave through all sports from dirt to asphalt racing. There is a commitment when you strap into that racecar and that is there's no guarantee that your going to get out so there's always been losses and historical moments in dirt racing. There isn't always tragedies there's famous moments like the 2016 Dream at eldora when a 19 year old kid Bobby Pierce Jr. won the world's most famous dirt race. 2017 will bring new stars like Rico Abreu which has already committed to dirt from nascar and has already won 2 golden drillers from the world's most prestigious midget race, chili bowl nationals in Tulsa Oklahoma .
It was going to be the time of our lives. Four buddies of mine and I went out to Jackson, Wyoming to do some of the best snowboarding of our lives. It was our chance to get away from home for a week and have the best time of our lives. The trip out there was extremely boring driving through Iowa, Nebraska, and Wyoming. Possibly the three most boring states in the country.
I was too excited to sleep that night so I just stayed up and read. It was finally 4:30 in the morning and time to get up. After a quick bowl of cereal. I jumped in the pickup and drove to where I was going to hunt. It was still dark when I got there so I grabbed my stuff and started up the mountain. I got to where I wanted to glass from, and waited for it to get light, so I could start looking for elk.
I was born and raised on snowmobiles. I remember times when I would fall asleep in front of my parents and, being able to ride by myself when I was 5 till now. All the trips my family has been on in four states and we are talking about going to the mountains this year. Being able to ride around here with all my friends see who can go the biggest jump.
The car ride was always the longest but we all knew it was worth it. We arrived at the campsite ready to finally get out of the small compacted car. We unpacked everything and still had time to go hangout around the campsite before the sun went down so my brother and I went fishing while my sister and mom went down to the playground. When we got back the second family had arrived.
It was an exciting day for me and I didn’t even know what was going to happen. My grandpa came to my house and then he told my brother Luke and I that he was going to take us on a fishing trip to Canada with his friend. We were so excited when he told us I told Grandpa, “This will be the best summer vacation ever!” After he told us we went and got gear like fishing poles, rain suites and food. When we got to the house the morning we were leaving, he showed us a picture of the cabin we would be staying in for the week. It took us a while to pack the car we all packed some of the same foods.
Harley-Davidson, Inc. has a long-standing culture of relationship nurturing with its customers – of association with its customers on personal levels. Owing to this, customers look at Harley-Davidson as not only a company, but as also a family to whom they owe their loyalty. Harley-Davidson is an example of a company which has a loyal (brand) following and its customers aid in future sales via marketing based on the consumer. The company has been doing business since 1903; according to its website, “Four young men experimented with internal combustion in a tiny wooden shed. Not only did the shed not burn, but the motorcycle they built went on to serve over 100,000 miles” (Harley Davidson, n.d., p.1). William S. Harley in 1901 came up with a blueprint of a motor for fitting a bicycle. Arthur Davidson later joined him, and they then built the 1st Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
My dad said, “do you want to get the chance to ride in a private jet down to Brownsville (Texas).”
My dad, being more pushy, asked, “Are you sure? If you start now, you can only stop playing when you reach level ten.”
When I was a young child I would love to hear my parents tell me that we were going on a trip. I would be full of excitement, because I knew that we would be going to a place that I had never seen before. My parents, my brother, and I would pack our luggage and venture out in our small gray minivan. Three of my most cherished memories in our minivan are when we went to Disney World, the beach, and the mountains.
“ Don’t forget my birth certificate,” I scream to my dad. I was about to ride on a real dirt bike track for the first time. The day felt perfect. I was going with my best friend Louis. I got a brand new jersey and crush pads for the ride. Nothing could have been better than going dirt biking. Right?
People ride bicycles for various reasons. Some people ride bicycles for sport, fitness purposes, as a mode of transportation, fun activity, and some people ride bikes to simply relax and clear their mind after a long day. Regardless of the reason you ride, it is important to know the factors that contribute to bicycle and helmet safety. A study in 2014 shows that 103.7 million people rode a bike that year and 34 percent of Americans age three or older rode a bike at least once in that year (“Study: 103.7 Million Americans Ride Bikes”). The importance of bicycle safety cannot be underestimated. According to the 2008 Alabama Traffic Crash Facts, there were 182 bicycle crash injuries and four fatalities. In 2008, children 14 years old and under
Recumbent tricycles are three-wheeled cycles that allow the rider to be in a reclined position while on the move. The pedals are usually at the front (attached to the front wheel) and not by the side. Unlike other common upright bicycles or tricycles, it allows one's weight to be evenly distributed in areas other than the back and buttocks making it more comfortable than its counterpart.
Going on a road trip with my family means the world to me. We drove to another state during summer vacation, and it was by far the best road trip I have ever been on. My family and I were able to go to many fun places. We ate so many exotic and delicious foods as well. Yet most importantly, I spent time with my family and their friends. It was the day when my family and I went to California for our summer vacation.
