Personal Narrative: My Trip To Myrtle Beach

A few years ago when I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with my mom, dad and sister was the most memorable vacation I had gone on. We had went two summers ago when I was fifteen. I got to do somethings that I had never done, and things I may not get to do again. I got to go parasailing, went on a banana boat ride and went on the Sky Wheel. Parasailing was made my trip so great. There was so many things to see just driving through town. There were hundreds of people, cars driving, lights around and tall buildings everywhere you looked. All I could hear were peoples blasting their radios, talking and cars running. My dad, sister and I all wanted to go parasailing after we saw the advertisements and all the people flying over the water at the beach. We all wanted to go try it. It seemed so cool to be so high in the air, seeing all of Myrtle Beach. The last day we were there my dad asked if we wanted to go parasailing yet. I was so excited that I would get to see everything from a different view. After all deciding that’s what we should do, we got to the place along the beach and picked out our lifejacket size and paid. They made everyone get on this long banana boat to ride out to the boats that would drive us around. The banana boat ride was wild. It splashed and bounced around like crazy. This got me even more hyped up. We got to our boat and they hooked all three of us buckled in. Then we started flying. The feeling was unbelievable. I felt like I was a bird flying and I was weightless in the sky. It was crazy to see the water so far back and all the little dots of humans on the beach. Seeing all the tops of the buildings and throughout the town is was made the trip so memorable. It was the most beautiful sight I had ever
