This quote could not be more true because in order to accomplish your goals you have to stay focused and really work hard to achieve them. There are a lot of goals I hope to not only accomplish in life, but in high school. As an incoming freshman, I am not sure what to expect in high school, but as long as I have goals and I work hard to achieve them, I am sure I will stay on the right path and have a successful high school career. Not only do I have expectations for myself, I also have expectations of my teachers and peers. If I stay focused on school and make my expectations true, I think my final grade point average will be either a low A or a high B. …show more content…
Some of them are academic and others are more into my personal life. The first few expectations are academically and they are as follows: make honor roll, don’t wait until the last minute to do homework, and focus more on school than other unimportant things. As I mentioned, I would like to make honor roll. I think this is duable because of my grades last year and how hard of a worker I am. I do believe that high school will be harder than middle school, but that doesn’t mean I can’t do just as well if not better in high school. In addition, another academic goal I mentioned was not putting off my work until the last minute. I have a very bad habit of starting assignments late at night the night before they are due, but this is something I would really like to change because I think I could get better grades if I just put more time and effort into them. Last, but not least I want to focus more on school. School hasn’t always been my number one priority and I think that is a problem that needs to be addressed. As I am going into highschool I hope to forget about the other irrelevant things such as boys, being judged, and the business of others. In the past, these things have definitely come before school which I realize now was a big mistake. Next we have personal expectations. I also have quite a few. Growing up, my parents never expected perfection but expected that I try to accomplish my best. The effort I’ve put forth in learning has been reflected in my grades throughout my high school career. I’ve entered myself in vigorous course work such as AP Government and AP English to become well prepared for my college career, all while maintaining a 4.4 grade point average this year. Not only do I engage in AP classes, but up until this year I had no study halls. I wanted my day to be packed full of interesting classes that I would enjoy learning about. My grades and choice of classes prove the effort that I put forth in my learning. Working hard now can only pay off in the future. Learning now creates a well-rounded human being. Working to learn is why I am so dedicated to my studies now.
The development of a new CBE scale is justifiable based on the explanation of the relationship among antecedents, construct and consequences under an unique theoretical framework. In doing so, this study resulted in strong empirical evidence of the Expectancy Theory (ET) framework for explaining consumer brand engagement self-selected brands. The sequence of effort (cognitive, behavior and emotional), performance (consumer brand engagement) and outcomes (BRR & CBE-O) chain of effects was large and significant. The effort-performance (E-P) causal relation was operationalized by the effort based dimensions of CBE, namely Cognitive, Behavioral and Emotional. It was demonstrated that the brand engagement dimensions predict expected Brand Related Rewards (BRR), which in turn predicts consumer brand engagement outcomes (CBE-O). My my personal goals are to get a 27 on my ACT, have a above a 2.8 GPA, and get a basketball scholarship to ORU. I began to get fascinated by our capitalist world’s economy at a very early age of my life. Growing up, I was incredibly curious to unravel how systems function, and this curiosity developed into a burning desire to learn how processes and organizations operate and run our world. I have always wanted to make good grades but I never really set any goals but, then I realized that setting academic goals are way more important than people realize . I then started to set goals like my sophomore year of high school after I did that it really helped me focus on my future and what I wanted for myself.
