The best vacation of my life According to the Psychological Association, chronic stress is linked to six leading causes of death. Of all yearly physician office visits seventy five percent are stress related aliments and complaints. That number should put everyone head over heals when it comes to how we view our lives. For most people all the stress from long hours in work for weeks on end can be undone with a vacation. Vacations not only benefit ones mind but also improve how we perceive certain life events because when one travels outside of his or her routine they are exposed to new experiences. Now a days it seems as if people want to travel less and less because they are happy sitting at home watching television or on the internet. Of all the things we can do with our given time on earth I believe that traveling should be at the top of everyones list. I have not had the opportunity to travel much in my life yet but there is one vacation in particular which I will never forget. The best vacation of my life was when my uncle invited me to join his daughters and him on a trip to Las Vegas , San Fransico, and San Diego. I still remember the feeling of joy that rushed through me like goosebumps when my mothers brother Jorge mentioned to me If I would like to go with him on a vacation. I was blessed enough to have been invited on such an amazing trip and thankful that my parents said yes. I believe that a vacation can cure any type of stress or sadness in ones life. It is important to break routine and discover new places whenever possible. Many people now a days over work themselves without any vacation to relieve the stress and that can have negative long term effects.
