"mmm" regularly traveling is what I desired to do my entire life, except I've never been capable of.This is excellent to follow what people's. lives are and what places there are.I admire geography and how it influences their lives and our lives.Knowing places like Australia would make you fully understand why it is
He who does travel, does not know the value of men. Traveling is one of the most important things someone can achieve. If someone never travels they’ll never know the full extent of human accomplishments because they won't be there to admire the food, buildings, nature, animals, climate, people, and just everyday life in other cultures.
It taught me important skills that cannot necessarily be taught in a classroom. There are many important traits that make up a “well-rounded” student, or even just a well-rounded person. Things like being caring, open-minded, reflective and even a risk taker. They are all very important aspects of being a successful student and person. I learned so much about these traits while on this trip. I learned the importance of being caring. It is always important to be caring. I learned to be open-minded. So open-minded. I had never been to another country. Never flown without my family. And I did it anyways. I was a risk-taker. And lastly, this trip forced me to be reflective. I thought about it for a long time while I was home. I have even thought about returning and doing a study abroad program. I thought about the food and the music and the beaches but the one thing that I could not get off my mind was that sweet child. Meeting that young girl and coming in contact with her sweet demeanor and contagious laugh motivated me. It made me want to be around people with that same character. It made me want to be with children, everyday. And it made me want to begin the path of becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. This trip was extremely influential in helping me decide my future. So here I am 6 months later enrolled in a Nursing program. It was greatly because of the
Growing up in Midwest America, there is not much to look at. The trees, fields of grass, rolling hills, and small towns offer a dull environment for a teenager. There are hardly any monuments, sculptures, or architectural feats to gaze at in admiration. Ultimately, the Midwest appears very mundane. This monotonous landscape seems to push the idea of a typical lifestyle of conformity; one that customarily consists of attending school, finding a career, and settling down with a family. To fully procure an awareness and acceptance of different lifestyles, one must travel. Whether from town to town or on the other side of the planet, traveling allows a person to see the different cultures, beliefs, and beauties that make up our world; I believe in traveling.
The meaning of anything and everything in this world is up to debate because of the differences between cultures, regions, and types of people cohabitating this planet. None of them have a solid “correct” form to live a healthy life, but with combined knowledge from many walks of life, it is possible to attain the powerful knowledge to enjoy that elusive healthy life. Travel is not typically a consideration within the health spectrum of a human being, but it has much more to deal with human well-being than many doctors will let on. Seeing the world will not drop ten pounds in two weeks, but what it will do, is broaden people’s perspectives on this world. It opens the mind into seeing how other people live, how the world functions, and viewing the raw natural beauty of undisturbed nature. Humans are of this earth and will return to it one day: it is important to understand where we come from and will eventually go, to maintain a healthy mentality. Now this may sound like the healthiest way to live life is to drop all worldly possessions and become a hippie traveling in a 1974 VW van, meeting all types of people; and that may be, it also may not be. Living healthy is like one of those college classes in which the only correct answer is to question; there is no definitive answer to be healthy, it is what best fits you. Traveling broadens horizons to open the possibilities of changing unhealthy lifestyles of under-traveled persons, allowing them to attain one of the thousands of possible healthy lives able to be
Besides the food and beautiful attractions, I learn about different cultures, become aware of what is happening in different areas, and I gain new perspectives. This is one of the many reasons why I love and appreciate traveling; it is eye opening and makes me appreciate my life more. Above all, traveling allows me to gain new experiences to become a social worker and a more compassionate
The traveler goes somewhere because there is something there to see or learn, and his reports of his goings-on are centered upon what is there and its relationships to ideas. The purpose of a trip for such a person is to learn, and also allow others to learn from what findings the person observes. While many people have never traveled around the world, they may still be aware of what is going on there,...
It is well known that travelling is a beneficial activity for people as it helps to open our minds, learn what characterizes and differentiates one country, culture or civilization from another but, more importantly, it leads people to a development of a brand-new and more mature conception of the world as well as a new outlook on life.
Getting prepared and ready to explore something new is just minor compared to the actual adventure for a senior anticipating the departure of their school trip. I was a member along with 30 other classmates of the co-curricular group called Business Professionals of America, a club organized through our school. Our teachers, club officers, and all of the members had been planning and fundraising for our trip to New York City for months. The excitement grew more and more as each day got closer to take off. All of us were anixious to see The Empire State Building, "Ground Zero," a Broadway play, and the spectacular views of gorgeous ocean sunsets. We had all been told and were aware of the different surroundings of the environment, or culture we would be experiencing when we arrived. Different cultures are common throughout the world, even in different places around the United States. Going on a trip to explore New York City really made the differences in cultures aware to me.
There is an abundance of cultures and lessons that teens can learn about as they travel the world. Many teenagers, however do not realize or take advantage of travel opportunities provided for them and the influence travel can have on their lives. There are many programs out there that give all teens the chance to travel and experience the world firsthand regardless of a family’s income. These travels will influence the growing mind by helping them to understand other cultures without the distant feeling that these places do not concern them. Although it may seem scary to some parents to let their child travel to far off places, teens need the exposure to broaden their knowledge and horizons. More teenagers should travel because traveling abroad not only teaches them more about other cultures, but more about themselves, who they are and who they want to become.
This essay is the respond to the Local Council Member who has wrong idea about a common archetype of adventure tourist. This misconception based on ignorance of current tourism industry, could potentially be a dangerous for local economy and development. The local authority must be well informed about present conditions with the tourism market, before they will make a far reaching decisions about the development direction in this industry. Currently, there are many organisations whose monitoring an international tourism business and this knowledge supposed to be good use for our common good.
The world is a magnificent place that’s full of life and new places. Places that are waiting to be walked upon and viewed by the eye’s of travelers. To make new memories and go places that is beyond the walls of reality and new pathways of life. To truly experience the wonders that the world has to offer can be expressed by the life of one single person, setting off into the world to gain a higher purpose about the world. Traveling individually enables people to broaden their minds and accumulate new ideas and new experiences both nationally and internationally. By setting off into the world a person has the ability to learn so many new things, but also find so much about themselves while in the process of traveling.
Personally, although vigilant about my safety and society both at home and aboard, I feel as if travelling despite that is a way of reclaiming and reiterating my right to exist and take up space. I have always been fiercely independent, and was raised to be a strong, independent woman by many like that in my family. My aunt, in fact, did a round the world solo trip before the age of 23. Hearing the stories of her journey, knowing that it was possible to escape the routine of home and experience something new, always inspired me. Research has shown the five key motivators for solo travel to be: experiencing new places, escape from “reality”, relaxation, social opportunities, and increased self-esteem (Chiang, 2006). These are all things that I strongly value, in and outside of my desire to travel, that have been shaped by my surroundings growing
My most memorable trip was the day I went to the Children 's Memorial Hospital to meet my baby brother. Meeting my brother was an indelible moment because I had never felt such happiness and love for someone. On our way there, I also got to create a bond with both my parents and learn how to be a better happier person. At the time I was sixteen years old and was going through a stage where I felt depressed and that’s why the day I arrived at the hospital to meet my brother I felt this warmth in my heart that made me feel happy again.
