People Who Don’t Dress According To Their Job Ever walk into a place where you’re suppose to see class and the standards are set high so you expect to see class and professional things going on. Because that’s is the type of setting you are in. But instead you see different? Walking into a doctor’s office and seeing women workers with their breasts showing was very shocking to me. One because who wants to see that while their are communicating with you. And not only that workers should feel revolting because they have to sit and speak with different people all day and not look like they came to a place of profession. This is something that you see in a lot of jobs. People not dressing according to their job or position. “Some jobs you walk in you might look at what type of job it is and say okay that type of outfit is okay for this job. But there are other jobs that are more of a high class setting that you would think they would want to dress like they came to work and not to dress,” senior Travis …show more content…
This makes the office, school or whatever the setting might be look bad as well not just the workers who are helping keep the facility up and running. “People not dressing according to their job doesn’t bother me that bad but it does makes me think twice about coming back to wherever the place I was at,” Travis Walker said. Dressing sluttly in a high class setting can make sells drops for people who actually invest in that business on the regular. “I believe the dress code in these places are getting worse especially in school settings. In today’s society looking good is important, especially in the working environment. Every occupation has some sort of dress code for employees to follow. Dress codes can range from wearing suits to gym shorts depending on one’s occupation. "Dress Code!" MasterFILE Complete. Educational Leadership, Dec.-Jan. 2014-2015. Web. 18 Feb. 2016. This article comes from the point of view of a school principal Thomas R. Hoerr. Hoerr starts of with a comment that was made to him about a young girl and what she was wearing. The comment referred to her undergarments. The author continues to explain the two points he learned, and because of those points, he made his school a casual place. The dress code he established only proclaims to be “neat and clean.” The author saw no problem until the attire came so close as to be dressing at the beach, so he conducted a meeting with his staff and decided something should be said. When the author wrote the work dress guidelines, he got the input of the teachers and what should be expected by each guideline. However, the author only sent out the draft to people who had worked with him for fifteen or more years, so the question arose that the world is changing and he needed opinions from younger teachers. When he received feedback, he was questioned on if some codes really made a difference, and he made some changes. Next Hoerr tells his readers that when they give a restriction on something, they must have a rational reason why. Hoerr’s reason was that the school staff needed to have a professional experience, which make since because some students might not take their teacher seriously if he or she is dressed for bed. This article uses logos by appealing to logic on

Clothing is the essence of the image that a person projects outward. Clothing is an important factor in the first impression of every single moment. The appearance - Must pay a particular attention to our appearance. For that you need to know the requirements of your company's dress code. For example, in the department for which I worked, I was in
Your appearances affect the way you are treated, you can either be discriminated against or it benefits you. I honestly believe that money doesn’t buy class. You don’t necessarily have to wear expensive outfits to look professional or from upper class, it all depends how you carry yourself. The way you dress and carry yourself says a lot about your class. That’s why first impression makes such a huge effect in us. The way you dress to an interview will determine whether you will get the job or not. I have also seen many different scenarios where people are discriminated against based on what they wear. I don’t think the way people dress is a reason to discriminate them but I do believe that everyone should know what’s appropriate depending on the occasion. Many people dress the way they feel most comfortable or they just wear simply what they like. If a man walks into a place with a suit and tie he will definitely get more attention and respect then another man with a regular shirt and jeans. I’m always saying to my family, friends, coworkers you have to dress to impress. I don’t need to have a two hundred dollar outfit to look sharp and give a first good impression on
