John Mason wrote in his book, You’re an Original Don’t Die a Copy, a quote from Rev. Hawes, “Aim at the sun, and you may not reach it; but your arrow will fly far higher than if aimed at an object on a level with yourself”. Rev. Hawe meant that when you create and decide to take on a goal, it should not be too easy; even though there’s a chance you might not succeed. In the quote, the arrow is you and the sun is your goal. When we set a difficult goal, we will go higher and farther (closer to the sun) than if we aimed for something simple.
Similar to the quote Rev. Hawes said, my goal is not simple and will not be easy to reach. I will this school year will pass all my test, exams, and quizzes.My obstacle would be to get into the habit of studying and look back at my notes more. After that I would want to pay more attention in my class. Then I want to get into the habit of writing notes over again. The main goal I have is to get my dream job, being a Youtuber. If I pass all of my tests, exams, and quizzes I can very intellectually smart, I will be able to create new ideas and create a new “family” on youtube. My intellect will help me learn about the algorithm of youtube and new software/programs to edit videos or create thumbnails. My goal is very important to me because I admired youtubers for years and I see them as my role models. As people who inspire me to become greater and let me know that there is still goodness in the world. They helped me through a dark part of my history, I used to only really smile or laugh when I watched my role models.
