The way I can increase my calcium is that I need to achieve consuming recommended levels of fat-free or low-fat milk, other dairy products, and fortified soymilk that would help me increase my calcium intake. My Vitamin D to increase I need to drink more orange juice, drink soy milk and any food contains this source of food. Potassium instead of me only eating a half of a banana at breakfast I should start to eating a whole for every breakfast. My excesses are different it is more of added sugar, sodium, total fats, and saturated fats. My added sugar I can provide more sugar-free sources to my food like sugar-free tea, jelly, etc. For the reducing of my added sugar by drinking few or no regular sodas and fruit drinks. Choose water, fat-free milk, 100% fruit juice, or unsweetened tea or coffee. Eat less cake, cookies, ice cream, candy, and other desserts. Sodium I can eat vegetables and soups, select those labeled "reduced sodium," "low sodium," or "no salt added." The total fats with the total amount of fat I need to reduce the portion size of fat foods. Use cooking oven that reduces the fat from the food. Saturated fats when I am cooking need to replace solid fats with vegetable oils rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, such as corn, canola, and olive. With the different area, I need improving and some I have improved in tremendously. The area that is my highest rating would be squats and cardio. The area of fitness which needs the most improvement rating is bench press that includes strength and condition. The expected lifetime activity or exercise I would like to keep increasing is cardio because it helps you maintain a good heart rate. The exercise in the weight training activity in class that I have experienced the most increased in the different weight change I have increased per 10 pounds of weight to lift or squad. My movement has changed since the start of class because I still take the same steps per day the only that changed is the level of speed on the steps to take per day. Saturated fats were the only excess that was recorded so I chose two of the main problem areas that I had prior to my program. My sodium and sugar intakes were excessively high and were consumed by fast food dinners more than four times a week, sweet tea and soft drinks. The best way to combat these excesses is to modify my meals and pay more attention to what I put into my body. To lower my sodium levels, I modified meals at home by using more low-sodium or sodium free ingredients as well as exchanging fast food stops for prepping dinners for the week on Sunday nights. My sugar intake was due mainly to my ‘need’ for large sweet teas and candy that I always seemed to have in my purse. I am still able to have my tea but it is only sweetened with Stevia and there is no longer candy in my purse aside from sugar free gum. My saturated fat intake was barely above the target amount but by cutting out the butter on baked potatoes and switching to fat-free dairy products will allow me to lower the

I. Introduction: You’ve probably heard it a million times that obesity is an issue on the rise in America. Well, why if everyone knows that it is a problem is nothing being done to fix it? I’m here to propose a solution to this problem affecting over a third of the adult American Population.
Today I will be outlining my plan to help education parents and children alike on the dangers of childhood obesity. With this plan I hope to better education parents and children on how to prevent and fight this current health issue. As a parent myself I’m very interested in this topic and help solving this situation. This plan will discuss what childhood obesity how we can help solve this problem. With the proper education I feel we all can make better decisions in our children’s lives as well as our very own.
In conclusion, having a healthy lifestyle helps reduce the risk of health problems, whether you have a family history of diseases or not. Physical activity, and making smart choices with how much you consume and what you consume can expand your lifespan. Being aware of your body composition can help identify your risk classification, and it can help plan a way to avoid diseases.
