I am very excited to apply to NDCR Cristo Rey High School. I have met a few alumni’s from the school, who have only positive things to say about the school and its courses. I am super excited that the school offers affordable private college preparatory education for low-income families. With speaking with the NDCR alumni’s they state that the school is a small and family oriented, something I am looking for in a high school. Another reason why I want to attend NDCR is the opportunity to attend the corporate work-study and having a professional work experience. The young men and woman from NDCR receive a great education and achieve a wonderful professional resume throughout the years. NDCR has high standards for the students, which will help me, grow academically. NDCR will also help me in the future by giving me an opportunity to achieve the goal of attending college. This great school will help shape my future and goals to venture into different corporate work-study. My areas of interest are dentistry; I …show more content…
also have a passion towards engineer, software designer and photography. The five most important characteristics traits I would look for if I were to hire an employee are team player, respectful of others, efficient and dependable, confident, and professional.
A company needs a team player because people cannot do everything by themselves. They need a person who works well with all. An employee needs to be respectful to everyone for example if he/she needs to help and assist a customer by being respectful the employee helps the company grow and the customer is satisfied. An employee also shows loyalty towards the company. A company needs efficiency because the company cannot waste time and an employee that does not need to do his/her best to make the company become successful. An employee needs to be confident in his/herself because if they are not confident then that will bring thecompany down and that shows that a person is professional. A person needs to be professional because that shows the intelligence that the company
has. Over the past year, I have had many exciting events that happened to me. However, the one of the most memorable time was when I received my purple belt in my Mixed Martial arts class. This is a reward for my hard work. In M.M.A I have learned never to give up and becomethe person that I am today.MMA has taught me discipline, respect toward others, and self defense as well as life experiences.I have dedicated myself by going on days when I felt sick and felt pain. I have been very responsible with M.M.A class by not missing classes. I also try to do the best I can in the classes and be an example for other kids and adults. My dedication has made me be the highest rank in M.M.A. I had even had to spar with adults. Over the years I have not quit, sure I sometimes have had doubts. When I sometimes think of quitting, I think of reaching my goals. Another thing I think about is the people depending on me and me being an example. My goal is to at least be come a black belt or even higher. Finally, another reason why I do not quit is to stay in fit. This is just one out of my many accomplished.
The main component I look for in college is their commitment to further my studies. I feel this college will provide an ingenious culture within the science field, therefore rendering myself with the building blocks necessary to later pursue the medical field. Not only does UNCW devote itself towards their student’s undergraduate years, but also by providing Professional pathways such as Pre-Medicine, students such as myself can go into Professional schools better prepared. In addition to my interest in the academics the school has to offer, I also marvel at the amount of extracurricular activities available to the student body. One student organization in particular is the Greek Life. When my mother attended this school, she was an avid member
I am writing this letter to express my interest in the nurse position posted at Christus hospital website for new nursing graduates. As you can see from my resume, I will graduate in May 2019 from the University Of New Mexico College Of Nursing.
One day I hope to become a Nurse Practitioner giving compassionate and adequate care to those individuals who are less fortunate and are in need of care. My life experiences, educational background, and determination will drive me through what's to come as I prepare myself to gain my BSN and become a Nurse. It is with great pleasure and excitement that I am applying for admission to Colorado Christian University. I never thought after having a family that I would be attending college. I want to show my children that with hard work and a good spirit anything is possible. They look to me for guidance daily as they grow and mature into who they will become both professionally and spiritually. They are the driving life force moving me forward testing myself with every learning experience. After what I have accomplished so far I know that I can go further and complete what I believe will be my impression and imprint on this world. When I am gone I will look back happily at the legacy I have left for my family as well as the persons I will

Being known as a great team player is good for any individuals’ character. Following through on promises, providing high quality timely results by meeting deadlines on projects, goals and maintaining a positive interactions with peers,
I have been looking at pursuing a career within the Health Care Profession for many years now, and whilst I was researching opportunities I discovered the Operating Department Practice (ODP) course at Northumbria University. I attended an open day, and after speaking to the course tutors and students, It has only strengthened my desire to become one. I have attended a Cardio Theatre visit which was interesting and informative as well as visiting the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) website and the College of Operating Department Practitioners (CODP) website to explore the role further.
What are the single most important characteristic people want to their employees? Reliability, responsible, good attitude? No. The answer is integrity. Employers want to be told the truth. They want people who have a moral compass and who are honest. In a world of spin and branding, and buying and selling, the concept of honesty seems to be dismissed, but it always comes back to bite those who ignore it in the butt. We see in the front pages of newspapers, magazines, and websites who are regularly crowded with stories of the great and the good who lied, stole, and cheated their way to fame, wealth and destruction.
Since the role of the nurse is changing in Thailand, there is providing more opportunity for nurses to work toward a professional career by increasing the number of doctoral nursing students, expanding the nurse practitioner, and publishing the research study. Typically, I hope that collaborating with the faculty of the School of Nursing, CUA will contribute to my knowledge, research proficiency, enable me to publish scholarly journal and shape my educational efforts for the health care system in Thailand. These are the most important components of my career path.
I decided to go back to pursue my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) mainly because I want to have a better career opportunity. Nurses who graduated with their BSN degrees have greater chances of working at better hospitals, especially those who are trying to obtain Magnet Recognition® status (Hawkins & Shell, 2012). Furthermore, BSN degree holders are perceived to be more competent than Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)-prepared nurses (Wise, 2013). California State University Fullerton’s (CSUF) nursing program is guided by the Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) created by the School of Nursing. The purpose of SLOs is to project what students will be able to accomplish once they finish a certain course, project, activity, or the nursing
Being a volunteer at the Living Coast Discovery Center (LCDC) has inspired me to pursue my dreams of one day becoming a elementary school teacher. As of today I have 73 hours with LCDC where I dedicated my weekends to teach kids, some as young as 2 years old about animals while helping them make arts and crafts, or as I like to call them, their Mona Lisas. Not only have I learned to keep children engaged, but I get to see how far a little kids mind takes them.
Another attribute of a team player is how he/she contributes to the team. A team player will discuss his/her ideas, give extra time, and sometimes give money, if it wills the team as a whole. By discussing ideas, a team player is using participative leadership. This gives the team as a whole the chance to solve problems together and work towards a solution. It will make every member of the team ...
An individual 's personality plays an important role to the success of the team. How this individual performs at their job also plays an important role. Understanding how each team member spends their time and what pressures he or she faces in their daily job is also important to know, this will explain a lot about their job performance and what the individual can and can not handle in their positions. The strengths and weaknesses of the individual team members inform the management of the work and knowledge capabilities, which allows for the expectations of their performance (Rice.edu,
The components of a good team should be considered. First, a high-performance team must have strong core values to guide attitudes and behavior consistent with the team's purpose. The members should know why the team is created and why he or she is on the team. Secondly, a team should have specific performance objectives. Members should know exactly what they are trying to accomplish. This also includes having standards for measuring results and ways of obtaining performance feedback. A good team will make members realize the importance of collective efforts. Third, a high-performance team has the right mix of skills. These involve technical, interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. No one needs to know how to do it all, but each member should be able to contribute to the group....
Companies should have only enough workers to perform essential operational functions. Hire employees who are well trained and able to pro-vide results. Moreover, employees should be happy, keep them motivated. Remember that just being good at one thing doesn't mean it's enough for the business to be successful. The owner should be adept at several things such as hiring, accounting, marketing, public relations, etc. And, although initia...
