My Educational experience this far in my life could possibly be described as a rollercoaster. When I was younger I missed a lot of days of school, I ended up being a year behind academically. I’ve been to ten different schools all together, in five different cities. From kindergarten to second grade I went to school in Visalia, in third grade I went to school in Hanford for a semester then went to Lindsay and stayed in the same school for fourth grade also. For fifth and sixth grade I got homeschooled which really helped me because I caught up academically to where I should be, but it was hard work, I did two years of school in one year. In junior high I went back to public school in the same city till the beginning year of junior year, I moved to Porterville and finished my last two years of …show more content…
I get distracted and 2. I procrastinate. My strengths as a learner I would have to say is 1. I follow the rules for the most part and 2. I get along with everybody in my classes and if I don’t I don’t do anything to start negativity. As this academic year progresses, I would build my strengths by following directions from my instructors or anyone over me and respecting everyone around me. I will address my weaknesses by focusing on what I am doing and putting all distractions aside and getting things on time before there due. Over all like I said my educational experience has been a rollercoaster, from being in ten different schools and being homeschooled. I’m grateful for my experience because I meet so many different people along the way, some turned out to be great friends even when I moved away. I think this experience also has shaped me to have a growth mindset because I had to keep going when things got rough, and I learned from my mistakes. I have many goals for myself and my education, I want to succeed in life and do the best I am capable of doing, I have weaknesses but I’m working on them, however I do have my
High school was not a completely dreadful experience, but I did not get a really an exceptional education. As I entered high school, I thought it would be a whole new exciting chapter in my life. I started out as an involved student, and went through all of the Advance Placement and Honor classes, and managed to be at the top 12% of my class. In high school, I basically placed myself to enjoy it; I joined all of the extra curricular activities I was interested in. I was in band, tennis, swimming, dance team, and Key Club. Sometimes I was at school for about fourteen hours a day, four times a week.
I believe that everyone has their own strength and weaknesses, but not everyone is able to figure out their strengths and weaknesses correctly. Knowing our own strengths and weaknesses is essential because it can help to achieve success in anything we choose to do. For me, my weakness is the time management, communication skills and weak in preparing effective Curriculum Vitae (CV) Below will be further explaining all my personal weaknesses and the ways to overcome it.
My personal strengths are that I read and remember things well from most sources. I can process new information easily which helps with various forms of math and science. However, I also possess several weaknesses. I sometimes shy
...ademic hardships. Even though I lost so much during junior year, I was unaware of the fact that secretly I was actually gaining a great deal of life experiences and real-life lessons for the future. Quite honestly I feel lucky. I feel lucky that I matured early in life; with this new maturity I feel I can accomplish anything. I feel I can make a positive difference in this world. I feel like this experience will be the primary step in my success, in terms of my career, and in the launch of my Children in Need campaigns in third world countries. I feel like the young superman who just learned how to fly, slightly aware of his magnificent impact towards the world. In short, I feel junior year provided foundation for the more mature and adult chapters of my life, and without the numerous obstacles of junior year, I would never gained the key to a successful future.
I remember the time when I had gotten promoted to high school as a 9th grader. That time was so important to me, at that time and age. It was a phase that you usually get over. I was growing up and starting all over again in a different environment with entirely different motives. I had started at the lowest class in the school, once again, as a freshman. I wasn’t a big 8th grader that internally felt more in control due to my age and experience. It was quite odd, just a couple of days before promotion, I was 8th grader, however I had more similarities with a 6th grader. This was me starting from strength to weakness. Through that I figured it out. Life is a process of phases that repeat, and helps a person grow. The famous novelist and blogger
I stand awake and alert. A first year college student with my sights fixed firmly ahead and my goals just within reach. A positive light is cast upon my future endeavors. Yet, as I reflect upon my educational experiences, I find myself drawing parallels between the direction in which my life is headed now and the similar paths I have traveled along before. I am forced to ask myself if I am truly prepared for what lies ahead. I have asked myself the same thing many times. I was once in a similar position. A fledgling student wavering just between the lines of hesitancy and motivation. I was beginning my freshman year at Oakmont Regional High School in Ashburnham, Massachusetts.
My five strengths according to the strength finder include; balance, this helps me be aware of treating all people equally regardless of the situation. I am neither in anyone 's favor or against anyone as this to me is selfishness and individualism. This would result in a situation where some people scale heights due to connections while others are lagging behind. I believe that a consistent environment where the rules apply to everyone is the best for individuals to function best (Rath, 2007). Flexibility is my next strength. By knowing that things do not always work out as planned has helped me change the tactics of how I perform my tasks. I do not always expect to have a smooth flow of opportunities or accomplish goals, but
The person I am today reflect on my mother and sister because they taught me right and how to be a lady. I stay classy never trash. I am a respectful and kind girl. I get along with everyone unless you get on my bad side. I hate drama so never bring that to me. I am really chill type of person I like to have fun and travel the world. There is a lot I want to accomplish in life. I want to become a radiologist it’s going to take a long time to become one but I am going to do whatever it takes. I also want to open a homeless shelter once I get older and start making that good cash money. I feel bad for those who don’t have a place to stay. I see so many of them when I lived in Atlanta and I just want to make a change for them in their lives. One thing I am trying to accomplish this year is to make A’s and have a GPA of a 4.0. Once I accomplish that I plan to transfer to Florida State University and finish my education there. It’s all up to me to do whatever it takes to accomplish this goals I set my self to do. I have change a lot I used to be lazy and never wanted to do anything and I seen school as a place just to get out of the home but I have seen now that school is much more than that. Without my education I will be doing nothing unless I see myself working at a fast food restaurant my whole life. Which I don’t see my future doing that. School is my main focus right
In this paper, I am to write about my strengths and weaknesses in writing. This is not an easy task for me because I have never considered myself a writer. Reading other peoples thoughts are activities that are more my speed. I simply have trouble putting my thoughts into writing. Since, I do not feel that I have many strengths, let's move on to my weaknesses.
I gave this paper a lot of thought before I began to write. ?What qualities and traits do I posses that make me desirable as an employee, a teammate, and as a person?? First, you must be able to identify your own personal strengths and weaknesses in order to become a lifelong learner and an essential part of a ?team?. As technology is constantly growing you have to be willing to accept what makes you an asset or a liability in any given situation you may encounter in your life. The qualities and traits that I feel make me a valuable entity to my employers, co-workers, classmates and within my personal relationships are varied. I will go on to describe some of the attributes I think are most important in establishing and maintaining successful relationships whether personal or work related.
Let’s flash back in time to before our college days. Back to then we had lunch trays filled with rubbery chicken nuggets, stale pizza, and bags of chocolate milk. A backpack stacked with Lisa Frank note books, flexi rulers, and color changing pencils. The times where we thought we wouldn’t make it out alive, but we did. Through all the trials and tribulations school helped build who I am today and shaped my future. From basic functions all the way to life-long lessons that helped shape my character.
To begin, I am going to write about my weaknesses and how they transitioned into strengths. First, I remember after each assignment in class was introduced I
My life has been full of so many events. I’ve lived through many hard times combatting my anxiety and depression, while having family problems, and trouble with many other areas in my life. School was a daily problem, and a problem that couldn’t really be avoided or fixed. I really hope that the rest of my life goes in this upward climb pattern that I am in right now, although I expect to have my ups and downs, but now I at least know that I am prepared for them.
I believe that life is a learning experience and being able to recognize our own strengths and weaknesses can help us become better individuals in anything we choose to do, whether it is positive abilities and skills that can help achieve our goals or negative personal areas that need improvement. Knowing yourself and what you can do, can help you recognize and overcome your weaknesses.
When I was in high school I had a problem, which was being shy. Being shy made me seem as if I was anti-social, and caused me to have no friends, but my shyness was decreasing each year of high school because I talked more, and by the time I reached 12th grade I had many friends, who are very close to me till this day. While being in high school, I was always focused on my studies. People believed that I was a genius in high school, but I really wasn’t, I was just focus on the lessons, and understood what the teacher taught us. As I reached eleventh grade, I was chosen to be a part of the National Honor Society; I thought that I was never going to be part of the National Honors Society. I was at the hospital when my friends told me the good news—that I was selected to be part of the National Honors Society. As I reached 12th grade I learned that working while going to school is a bad idea if you can’t multitask right. When I was working I didn’t realized that I wasn’t multitasking right; I wasn’t putting enough effort into my studies, and having a job was distracting me, so I decide to quit my job, and continue my education by going to college. Growing up was scary, but I’m ready what the future is holding for
