First of all, I chose this profession because singing is my passion; I have sung since I was little. Some of the greatest singers have been classically trained, with years of voice lessons and practice. One such singer is Maria Callas, a well-known and revered artist. Plus, according to some experts, humans have sung before they learned to speak.
Singers need to communicate effectively, reason and problem solve, manage oneself, people, time, and things, and be able to work with people. The equipment needed depends on what type of singing you are doing. To sing opera, the singer needs, depending on the song, a piano and an accompanist, along with (if needed) a microphone. Working hours tend to be irregular because of the difficulty of finding jobs. It tends to be a very stressful job, behind the scenes and performing. The pay depends on where you get the job at, whether it is an opera house or a restaurant. But, sadly, women artists, who work full-year, full-time, earn $0.75 for every dollar made by men artists. On average, both gender singers earn:
There are possibly no fringe benefits, depending on which company you sign with, if any. Some lifestyle implications are: having irregular schedules, less sleep than usual, protecting the throat year-round, and drinking more fluids than usual. There are no prospects for advancement, though becoming famous can be a plus. Nevertheless, the future job outlook is dim unless you have a monstrous talent for singing. If so, then you are set, but if not, another job would help, because of the irregular pay.
I would have to be able to stand for long periods of time, speak clearly so listeners can understand, understand the speech of another person, focus on one source of sound and ignore others, hear sounds and recognize the difference between them. Plus, singers also have to be personable, or else people do not have interest in them. No postsecondary education is necessary, but study in music theory, dance, and acting could be helpful to proceed in this career. Most singers have professional voice training when they are younger.
Finally, some advantages of this career are: becoming famous, earning a lot of money, not working in a cubicle, and relieving stress and anxiety while doing the thing I love. A major disadvantage is being vulnerable to exploitation or illegal discrimination based on the career, and having irregular pay and hours.
The Entertainment Industry is an expanding industry with numerous career opportunities especially for the quick learning students in today’s world. I chose to study the entertainment industry because I have always had a passion for it. I grew up with music always playing on the radio and if the radio was off, the television was tuned into some show. I know many people listen to music and watch television all the time, but there is so much more to this industry. Being so passionate has led me to studying specific things in the industry and learning the ins and outs of it, which is helping me to find a potential career. There are many people in the industry that I look up to and one person, who has made it in particular, is Debra Rathwell.
Not only a great singer, she taught herself how to play the guitar and the harp, and

Some of the most rewarding components of being an occupational therapist are, “helping others reach their needs according to carol smith a licensed OT” (Smith, 2017). I chose to research a physical therapist because it provides an opportunity to help people. This is a good career for me because it is in the medical field, which is where I want to be headed towards, and is not extremely stressful. Physical therapists use human biology more than chemistry, which is an advantage because I find biology more interesting. It is a good balance between studies, physical activity, and personal relationships. On the other hand, it requires a lot of school, which will take a lot of time and money. Looking from a bigger picture, the amount of school will be beneficial and the career advantages will outweigh the downsides. Overall, a physical therapist sounds like a very excellent fit for me.

There a few things that one needs to consider before choosing to pursue a career in audio engineering. A recording engineer often has to work long, irregular hours. An engineer must also be able to work well under extreme pressure. It also helps if the engineer has a good musical ear, as well as an appreciation of music. Naturally, it helps to be fairly adept technically and electronically. If you feel like this is you, and you can handle working for a long time without reward (hopefully not too long), then a career in audio engineering could be for you.
A wrong career choice an affect an individual for the rest of their life. It's important for the applicant to consider these factors when making a career
Fashion and music have always gone hand in hand. Most of the celebrated female musicians are very much focused on fashion. For many famous female singers, fashion is as important as their music. They used to spend a lot of time for fashion and try to get updated with most modern fashion trends every now and then. You can find plenty of female musicians whose style you would love to steal and imitate.
Some of these outside sources can be access to money, time in order to finish this schooling, and the struggle of finding a job after the schooling is completed. There are advantages and disadvantages to being a therapist. Disadvantages of becoming a counselor can be dealing with papers, insurance, and billing issues. As well as, dealing with multiple clients on a daily basis, which is emotionally draining. In addition to those, one will have to devote time and energy to finding new patients and dealing with reoccurring ones. This can be especially difficult, because personal problems and personal opinions cannot interfere with the work place. There are also, many advantages, that hopefully will override the disadvantages at hand. The reward of helping people overcome their burdens is one of the top five great parts of being a counselor. Another positive to becoming a therapist is the high money earning potential. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, on average psychologists working full-time earn between $50,000 and $100,000 a year. Of course psychologists, or those who have completed their doctorate are able to make as much as 200,000 a year. Finally, having the opportunity to meet new people. As a therapist one may see all different types of personalities and cultures who have the same problems everyone else has. If one pursues medical therapy all of the different disorders and how they affect people can be fascinating all on its own. Being a therapist, just as any other occupation has upsides and downsides, but the goal is to find a career path one appreciates and is passionate
...Personally, I was kind of unsure about the salaries for this profession. I had a feeling the salary would start painfully low but it would eventually climb the more time I put into it. It all depends on whether I choose to pursue this or not.
Overall, this career is important to our society because nobody wants bad ice cream. And no one by ice cream the company will have to cut back. This then will cause people to loose their jobs. Then the unemployment rate + poverty will rise. Finally our country will fall and become a waste land (that escalated quickly). I think this career would be good for me because I will be making money doing something I love (eating).
Each type of modeling work has different demands, which include the length of contract and pay rates. So, if you really wish to pursue a career in this industry, you need to consider a lot of things ahead of time. The desire to change careers must come from you. You must have the drive and passion to pursue this new adventure because your heart and mind tells you to. You can’t go after a career change purely because others are doing it or telling you to do it. Prestige, money and fame are external factors – you shouldn’t let them determine what you should do. Sure, you might start making more or become famous but these are not a reason for pursuing change.
