The third type of verbal communication is mediated communication. Mediated communication consists of the transmission of information via signal, representation, tool or technology overcoming constraints of space and time associated with in -person communication (Danesi, 2013). The people use the electronic message to create meaning. Mediated communication related to the use of media technology that allows individual in relation and delivers messages to another individual. In the other word, they can interact with others people through the electronic devices. In process of mediated communication, all people have potential simultaneously to be consumers and producers of mediated message. Mediated communication is more than only radio, television and newspapers. For other example of mediated communication such as sending text messaging, email, create a website and so on. The two major type of mediated communication which is mass communication and computer mediated communication. The development of technological allows us to no longer bind by the use of computers to communicate electronically. Apart from the use of computers, they can use a smartphone to interact and provide feedback by sending a text message via WeChat, WhatsApp, email and social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. They also can use more advanced program like Skype and video chat. Through Skype and video chat, they can even use to facilitate face to face discussion over internet.
