I never had anyone to play with when I was young. My friend was a Tv, who would inspire me to do stupid things. It taught me to do extreme actions that adults wouldn’t do. The house that I lived in was on top of a rocky hill. It was surrounded by big trees that would allow me to perform amazing stunts. For example, jumping from the top of a 6ft tree to the ground. Jumping from the tree to another tree. Jumping from the tree to the top of my house. Mother Marlena would always yell at me to, “STOP! AND COME DOWN!” I was a hard-headed six- year-old the boy who was stubborn and thought he knew it all. Mother Marlena was my biological mother who cared for me ever since I was born. She disciplined me academically and socially. She was in …show more content…
I would always chuckle and tell her, “I’ll be fine nothing is going to happen”. When I sat down on the couch the Tv was noisy; it was throwing its commercials at my face. Suddenly, for some odd reason, I glared back it. Cars were moving fast; suspense was flashing at my face. My eyes luster by the vivid images that were on Tv. The screen became pitch dark. “FAST AND THE FURIOUS” now in theaters. I scream “Mother Marlena!”. Concerned she asked, “Is everything okay? Are you hurt or anything? What’s wrong?” Cheerfully I responded, “There’s a new movie coming out and I really want to see it!” She nodded, “We can go tomorrow as long as you stop jumping from trees”. The first thing I did was “flung” out of the couch in excitement. Out of so much excitement, I knocked out on the floor. That following morning we went to see the movie I’ve been dying to see. I was thrilled to see the cars do their tricks. As I rush into the theater room I sit down. Once the movie begins my eyes are startled by the stunts being performed by cars. “Vroom” and “Vroom”. Race after race I was amused with what came to my eyes. By the time I left my face felt helpless, I sat with …show more content…
By the time I got home I saw my little toy car. The light bulb inside my head, “ding”. I smirked and assumed that I was brilliant. A car plus a hill equals fast and the furious. Before I began I made sure my parents went inside the house. Little did I know that I had an unexpected visitor. My annoying small sister decided to show up and had the guts to ask me what I was about to do. She was 4 years old at that time and would always be curious about everything. Laughing at her face, “I am a genius and what I’m about to do is a clever plan”. Just watch me perform my amazing creativity. As I go get the car, it feels rough and heavy from just sitting around. When I move it to the starting position; there’s an obstacle between me and the ending point. The rocky hill was the obstacle that stood before me. It was bumpy, ugly, rough and pebbly. No matter the setting I knew I could make this happen. A moment of silence approached. I hop in and “boom” I’m of the hill. Pressure through my face. Air particles collapsing against my face as gravity pulls me down. Yes!! This is what I called “FAST AND THE FURIOUS”, but the Victor version. The car starts to stumble and lose its balance. “Ohh
“Straining his eyes, he saw the lean figure of General Zaroff. Then... everything went dark. Maggie woke up in her bed. “Finally woke up from that nightmare. Man… I miss my brother. Who was that person that my brother wanted to kill?” she looks at the clock and its 9:15am “Crap I’m late for work!” Maggie got in her car and drove to the hospital for work.
Far back, in the midst of a time when the world was very young, there lived a princess named Lucille and a bunny named Fluffy. Lucille was a beautiful girl with chocolate brown hair, and eyes as blue as the sweet summer sky. Fluffy was as white as snowflakes and as soft as clouds. He offered plenty of razzmatazz but little manners. They lived together in a tall castle, covered in green vines and grey cobblestone, hidden in the dense forest filled with animals and nature.
Judy pov Judy had been sleeping yesterday after what happened it wasn’t that late and she still had classes to go to but, she didn’t, not with her face mark like that. Needless to say it was an awkward day as her and Nick were basically trapped together in the room. It had been two days
This mask belongs to the minor character Mercutio; consequently, its main colors are orange, brown, and green because he is flamboyant, reliable, and young. To begin with, the color orange represents Mercutio’s most recognizable and dominant trait: flamboyance. It is exhibited most in his Queen Mab monologue, “Oh, then I see Queen Mab hath been with you./She is the fairies’ midwife, and she comes/In shape no bigger than an agate stone/On the forefinger of an alderman/Drawn with a team of little atomies...And in this state she gallops night by night/Through lovers’ brains, and then they dream of love...This is the hag, when maids lie on their backs,/That presses them and learns then first to bear,/Making them women of good carriage,”(Act I, Scene 4, lines 53-57, 70-71, 92-94).
So we got to our hotel, and it was a really nice kinda fancy place. When we got to our room we decided to go out and eat at the dock where there were all types of cool rides and food we decided to go eat at Bubba Gumps shrimp, and it was really good the waiter asked us all types of trivia questions about the movie. When we got back to our hotel I fell asleep so fast like right as I hit the bed I was out it's funny how sitting in a car for 12 and a half hours really takes it out of
The whole car shakes as he hits the ground, then you're off. You travel through Fix-It Felix Jr and all you can do is smile as you meet Felix and the Goodlanders. There is some centripetal force when you whip around the first turn and see the dump that Ralph lives in. You won’t even realize you're going up a tiny three-foot lift hill which has potential energy as you reach the top. Once you’re at the bottom of the first hill you're back in Grand Central Station. You see the surge protector making sure Ralph didn’t steal any cherries from Pac man. As you're going up another 3three-foot lift hill, a chain is exerting work as it pulls you to the top. Your stomach will drop as you’re in freefall and you can start to see Hero's Duty. You see Sergeant Calhoun and her troops fighting the cy-bugs. Your car speeds up a four-foothill and rockets you back down the hill. You can feel the air resistance pressing you back into your seat. The Sugar Rush theme music plays and you see Vanellope sitting in a tree watching Ralph try to get his medal. You travel with Ralph and Vanellope through Sugar Rush going at a Constant speed of 5 mph with a few quick turns. When you go up the fourth hill, the chain is exerting force and you experience weightlessness at the top. When you go down the hill, you will slightly accelerate. You're at the start of the race
With music blasting, voices singing and talking, it was another typical ride to school with my sister. Because of our belated departure, I went fast, too fast. We started down the first road to our destination. This road is about three miles long and filled with little hills. As we broke the top of one of the small, blind hills in the middle of the right lane was a dead deer. Without any thought, purely by instinct I pulled the wheel of the car to the left and back over to the right. No big deal but I was going fast. The car swerved back to the left, to the right, to the left. Each time I could feel the car scratching the earth with its side. My body jolted with the sporadic movements of the car. The car swerved to the right for the last time. With my eyes sealed tight, I could feel my body float off the seat of the car.
I felt like that was the best day of my life. Two weeks later, the car started smoking real bad. I took it to my uncle who was a mechanic. My uncle told me that I had bought a “ lemon” ( bad car). He went on to tell me that this car had a lot of mechanical problems that would take lots of money to fix.
I began taking deep breaths and my heart beat just a little slower. As I calmed down, I finished stocking all of the Monster energy drinks and began working on Rockstar as Staci comes through the door and says to me “Can you come help a guest with her ice?” I respond “Of course, I will be right out.” As I load about a hundred pounds of ice into her car, we begin talking. After having a very brief conversation with the lady, I begin to forget about the stolen car for a
The whole time I was screaming falling up and down on the death trap of a ride my friend was hysterically laughing at me. After that death trap the journey to find another ride was short because it was right next to the Hollywood terror but unfortunately the rock ‘n’ roller coaster was closed due to maintenance and Alex was dying to go on it. Instead of going on that ride we had to walk all the way back to the main area just to see a Star Wars parade blocking all paths to anywhere but luckily for us it wasn’t too long and it was fun. Soon after the parade finished we decided to go back to the hotel because it was supposed to storm later in the day and we didn’t want to have to stay at the park when a storm hit because then everyone would have to be cramped in a small building
Behind the photograph Spring morning always had a smell of freshness from the bionts that made me felt exhilarated. I saw many students who wore the same uniforms as me on the streets: laughing and chatting with their friends, but there were few who didn’t, those girls looked glum and languid, one of them had a big headphone on her ears which reminded me the girl I saw yesterday- Alice Bradley. ** It was a inclement night and i could hear the howling of the wind outside my window. The earrings my sister had given to me were gone so i went to her dresser searched for others while a black leather album appeared in my sight.
I thought going up that hill was a challenge, but I can tell you going back down was not easy either. Walking with that big white bucket filled with water I just don’t know how I did not fall down. We decided to take a short cut through an empty field that had low cut grass and barb wires at the entrance. The barb wires were placed so low that if you were not looking and paying attention you would have definitely cut your foot or ankles. Finally, we reached back to my place, I was glad to drop that white bucket on the ground and take a seat and cool off a little bit.
Rocks were flying everywhere like a volcano just erupted as they were hitting the wheels on my longboard. “Crack!” My longboard stopped from a rock but I had not. It felt as when you hit the brakes on a car, the car stops, but you don't. I felt air time as I flew a couple feet forward.
We looked up and saw about thirty people running the stairs like Rocky did in the movie. My dad and I decided we were going to race up the stairs and see who could make it to the top first. When my mom said go we took off running up the uneven stairs. At first I was beating my dad but when we were about half way up the stairs he passed me. By the time I made it to the top I was hunched over gasping for air.
My days were happy ones before I started going to school, as I had lots of neighbors to play with from morning till dark. We played games outdoors and rode about on our bicycles. The undeveloped woods behind our homes provide endless opportunities for adventure. There were also many other games to occupy our time. My earliest recollection of fear was when I was barely four years old.
