Thank you, Melania, America loves our First Lady, thank you. I am thrilled to be back in the great state of Ohio right here with the incredible men and women of Youngstown. What an amazing few days it's been. On Saturday i was in Virginia with thousands of brave men and women of the United States Military. Do we love the united states military? We commissioned the newest, largest, and most advanced aircraft carrier in the history of our nation, the USS Gerald R. Ford into the great American fleet. Then yesterday i was in West Virginia with almost 50,000 of our most impressive young Americans. They are young men who learned to cherish words like duty, honor, god, and country, the Boy Scouts. Then only a few hours ago the senate approved a vote …show more content…
this has been a difficult week for the media because I forced them to travel with us all around the country and spend time with tens of thousands of proud Americans who believe in defending our values, our culture, our borders, our civilization, and our great American way of life. Everyone in this arena is united by their love, and you know that. Do we know that. Everyone. United by their love for this country and their loyalty to one another, their loyalty to its people. And we want people to come into our country who can love us and cherish us and be proud of America and the American flag.We believe that schools should teach our children to have pride in our history and respect for that great American flag. We all believe in the rule of law, and we support the incredible men and women of law enforcement. Thank you. Thank you for being here. We celebrate our military and believe the American armed forces are the greatest force for peace and justice in the history of the world, and by the way, they're getting a lot greater fast. A lot greater. You saw our budget. we're ordering billions and billions of dollars of new ships and new planes and equipment for our great soldiers.we are building it up. There's rarely been a time where we needed the protection of our incredible military more than right now, right here, and that's what we're going to do. We believe in freedom, self-government, and individual rights. We cherish and defend -- thank
Our veterans helped make our country the best country, which is known for fact.Today, because of our veterans I’m proud to say that every citizen has the right to speak and share their voice no matter what their race is. In some countries, there are still racial conflicts and all races.I am also proud to say that every child in America,no matter what their race is, they can have a free education. Most children in other countries are not allowed to go to school because they can’t afford it instead, they go to work
The patriotism swelled in my already overfilled heart. It doesn’t matter that our country is faced with humongous issues, and that Washington is more divided than ever. What matters is those men and women who gave their lives for this country. Every man, woman, child, white, black, straight, gay, Republican, Democrat, rich or poor, should pay their respects to those who rest in eternal peace at Arlington National Cemetery.
This gathering to honor the American Veteran is a tribute to their glory and their devotion to duty.
Thinking back over the years, people are able to live a freedom filled life that may not have been if not for the many wars that were fought by our courageous soldiers, young and old. Wars fought to defend our country, guard our lives from terrorists, and to protect the 50 stars on our American Flag which represents our 50 free states. Throughout history, symbols have been a rallying cry for people throughout the world, and these symbols have led to the advancement in social justice and freedom for all. Europeans fought for their Kings and today, soldiers have fought and continue to fig...
Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen - I would like to start by thanking Frank on behalf of the bridesmaids for his kind comments and echo the fact that they look wonderful and performed their role fantastically well, despite the inevitable and healthy rivalry that can sometimes occur. In fact, just before the service I overheard a furious sisterly argument about who was going to be first to dance with the best man. Understandable, I thought - until I got closer and heard them saying, 'You!', 'no, you!'
Coming over from Taiwan nearly six years ago, the freedom of the American society still dazzles me. The extensive freedom of the U.S. citizens is a result of those American soldiers who fought bravely during wars to “insure domestic tranquility and provide for the common defense” (Constitution 1) of the United States. I want to honor and thank the soldiers, especially those who unfortunately will never be identified by family members.
The war has finally ended; it was bloody civil war against the people and the government. The people finally won and took over the government they returned the once democratic country to its former state and read history to make America the best it’s ever been. I was president, president Sadie, I like the way the sounds. I continue to lead America in the memory of my mother and that if you really believe in yourself and everyone around you, you can make a difference. Happiness is real, not something forced, and something that will never be fake and fabricated again.
Americans can sometimes take our veterans and our military for granted. I am proud to be an American. I am proud of our government system, our history, and this land. I am thankful for the positive impact our beautiful flag has made on the world.
Edgar Allan Poe is one of greatest American authors and poets. He is well-known as a master of using irony in his story. “The Cask of Amontillado” is a horror story about revenge of Montresor upon Fortunato. Fortunato believes Montresor is his good friend, but he ends up with being chained and walled in to the catacombs. There are three types of irony used in this short story: verbal irony, dramatic irony, and situational irony. Using these ironies, Poe wants the readers to understand about Montresor’s “friendship” with Fortunato.
America has a lot of threats from other countries. Terrorists threaten to ruin thousands of peoples lives everyday. Our veterans and the men and women currently fighting are a huge relief. Its nice to know there were people out there that once protected us from the very same thing that thousands of other soldier are still doing today. I am eager to see how the US will change and evolve over time.
It is not about the war or the violence in this imperfect world. On this day, we are to show our appreciation for the people who risk their lives for their beloved country. Most of us can't even imagine what profound sacrifices they make to protect our freedom. Our everyday lives and normal routines would be greatly disturbed constantly if it weren't for them. That is why we owe so much to them.
Good morning I am very honored to be standing here today to talk about such an important event memorial day.memorial day is a remberence it's also a day when we put aside our difference and come together as one and remember the people how fought for us to be free. A man by the name of Joseph Campbell once said “ A hero is someone who has given His or her life Do something bigger than oneself.
Good evening everyone. Hope you are having a good time. On behalf of the President, I welcome you for attendance to celebrate this once of a lifetime event with us. I must say, I could've not asked for anything else from Him. Your presence made this especial occasion as colorful and as beautiful as ever, especially His Holiness and His Honorable.
By remembering our veterans’ sacrifices I hold close my beliefs of freedom for everyone regardless of race, gender, and ethnicity. The service men and women are the people that enacted change, and the people who stood up for what they believed was right, instead of complaining about what was wrong. Our veterans possess the desirable American qualities of courage, bravery, and strength. Veterans have risked their lives for our beliefs, and are an essential part of what makes the United States an amazing country. Veterans are the reason we live in the Land of the Free and the Home of the
I am not discouraged with our country’s political or economic failures. Instead, I am optimistic for our country’s future and I am ready to take a stand for my beliefs and act on them to make my country a better place. I am proud of my country and I am not ashamed to fly the American Flag. Many men and women have died to give me the freedoms that I take for granted.
