“How to Train your Dragon,” is an eye-catching movie because training a dragon is something almost everyone dreams about learning to do. Set in the mythical world that is full of different Vikings and special dragons. This movie is animated, this movie is also a comedic movie, and an action movie. It explains how the unlikely friendship between a Viking teenager, who’s name is Hiccup and a Night Fury dragon that Hiccup calls Toothless, that can change a Viking’s life. The movie takes place on an island, that is known as Berk Island. This Island is the home to many Viking warriors and their families. This Island has been their home for over seven generations. Hiccup and other kids from his village are all in a training center learning the basics of killing dragons when he discovers his love for Astrid. Astrid is a girl from his village who would be considered out of Hiccups league because she is the “ideal” women. Astrid is very petite, follows the rules, and is a very good fighter. She is devoted to learning how to kill a dragon, and likes to follow the traditions of dragon slaying. Hiccup is intimidated by her in the beginning of the movie, but soon he learns that she isn’t that bad of a person, they become friends, and soon after they start dating. Astrid is one of Hiccup’s biggest supports with training dragons. She helps boost Hiccups confidence, she also stands up for Hiccup and stands by all of his decisions. Astrid has a sense of adventure and goes everywhere with Hiccup. She helps him with whatever he needs help with., and she also trains her own dragon that she names
