The thing I dislike the most about chewing gum is where people leave it, on the bus, under tables and on the floor. It’s disgusting! Have you ever accidentally stepped on a piece of chewing gum just walking down the street? It gets stuck to your foot all day, you try and scrape it off, but it just isn’t budging. You then have to resort to using your fingers to pick off somebody else’s revolting ball of goo. People try and stick chewing gum where ever they can. What’s wrong with a bin? I was in class the other day and my knees touched the underside of the desk. I felt something squidgy touch knee (it was repulsive). Its not exactly hard to put something so small into a bin.
As you can see, this is why kids should be allowed to chew gum in school. Kids should be allowed to chew gum in school. Some may argue that chewing gum in school is distracting, but the good outweighs the bad. They help kids focus and relieve stress instead. All in all, if kids were allowed to chew gum in school they would be more focused on work than on getting out of

Semple was honored for this work with the first patent to manufacture chewing gum in December 1869”(Wrigley, History of gum). “On average we chew almost 300 sticks of gum a year and with the variety gum available today it doesn't seem like that number will go down any time soon”(The History of Chewing

Not only is it evident through the past points that there’s multiple reasons to chew gum, but some have a bias and only look at the downside. To solve the problem of kids being loud, some teachers have made a rule called the “No Mess and No Noise” policy (Chewing Gum Facts). It states that if a student starts blowing bubble or is loud with the gum, there privilege can get temporarily taken away and that person won’t be able to chew gum in class for let’s say, a

Should students be able to use cell phones during class periods? This is a question a lot of students and parents have asked themselves. There are many reasons for and against the use of cell phones in schools.
It also helps us to remember the materials that were taught in class. Another reason homework can be beneficial is the fact that it can prepare us for tests and the dreadful pop-quiz that a teacher may randomly give us. This fact was proven, according to a 2006 study by Harris Cooper, director of Duke University’s Program in Education, in the article “Homework or Not? That is the “Research Question”.
