Studies have shown that one way to improve students grades is to start an afterschool homework club. I believe going after school and getting extra help on a subject that students do not understand completely, is a great way to improve students grades. How can an afterschool homework club help students learn more in their classes? There are multiple ways a short homework sessions can help students learn more. For instance, it can help the student fully understand the subject their struggling in, it also allows students to catch up on all of their notes, homework, or classwork they have missed throughout that week, and lastly, it can allow a student to have one-on-one time with their teacher. Doing homework at home and not to sure how to do it, can really make a student want to pull their hair out. Therefore, having an afterschool homework club can be very beneficial for the students that work hard to pull their grades up. …show more content…

However, many students do not comprehend certain areas to well, having extra time and getting it explained better, can help the student understand the topic better. Variety of students can really use the teacher's help in an area they are struggling with. Consequently, when students try to understand some of the work teachers give , can be extremely tough on the students. For instance, some students do not take in knowledge to well like other student, so having afterschool time with the teacher can let the students have extra practice on topics they struggle with.
