Homework Clubs Should Be Allowed In School

Have you ever had problems with completing homework assignments, having technology for a project, or planning out projects to avoid waiting until the last minute? Homework clubs are an excellent way to solve those problems rapidly. Homework clubs have been created at schools to complete assignments, meet with teachers for extra help, and have less work to do at home. This way, students will not be up late at night doing their homework and be exhausted the next day at school. Homework clubs are a fantastic idea because they give students access to teachers and other resources, provide a set time where students only do work, and decrease the likelihood of procrastination, giving them more free time. First, homework clubs can give students opportunities for more practice with a teacher on certain content or to use other resources they may not have at home. Students can have valuable one-on-one time between them and the teacher at homework club. This is great for students who need to catch up on work they missed or go over concepts that they did not understand. They also might stay after to prepare for an upcoming test or to retake a test they underperformed in. In my life, I often stay after with Ms. Marcey, my math teacher, to do homework or review for upcoming tests. They are able to focus on their work more and not be distracted by friends or people talking. This can also help them understand the content better that is on the homework. As a result of students focusing more in homework club, they can be more productive and will get more accomplished. This reduces their stress levels to do homework later at home, if you still have any. For me, doing homework club has forced me to put more effort into my homework and turn in more assignments on time than I used
