Throughout my high school career I have maintained an above perfect grade point average, joined multiple extra curricular activities, and volunteered for several years. Having this diverse pool of activities has made me a leader, a better student, a well rounded person, and has also helped me develop long lasting friendships.
I have achieved significant academic accomplishments that I am extremely honored of. I have maintained a 4.042 grade point average, have lettered in academics every year, and I have challenged myself with weighted honors classes like Honors Algebra II, Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Pre-Calculus. Apart from academics, I have also immersed myself into other activities around the school and my community. Over the duration of my high school career, I have earned a music letter every year, and I have been involved in the Marching Band for four years, Concert Band for four years, Jazz Ensemble for three years, Jazz Combo for two years, Patriot League Symphonic Honor Band for three years, and Combined League Honor Band for one year. As a freshman, I was chosen as the saxophone section leader over any upperclassmen because of the way I distinguished myself in my practice and devotion. I have also auditioned and won the position of saxophone, clarinet, and flute section leader in the Marching Band since my sophomore year. Being a section leader in the marching band includes mentoring band members in my section, running rehearsals, and sharing my knowledge about the saxophone with my band members. Having this opportunity sparked leadership in me that I had never experienced before. My extracurricular participation does not stop at the band room, as I have participated in both yearbook and National Honor
