Organizational Behavior Reflection and Analysis
In my opinion, there are some managerial roles that a manager needs to follow to become successful in the company. Depending on organizations these managerial roles changes and to be successful in business, every organization must assign right person for managerial roles. Finding a right person to a particular managerial role is really hard to do but there is another factor that we can consider here, which is the managerial skills. Managerial skills help a person to perform the managerial roles effectively. So by evaluating a person’s managerial skills we can identify whether he is suitable for particular managerial job or not. There is a company called Tata group, which is one of India’s biggest company, follows certain procedures which is called the Tata way, for dealing managers which includes hiring, training and assigning efficiently and effectively. This is reason why managerial job in the Tata group became my favorite job. This paper examines how this unique procedure for dealing managers make the Tata group successive and how can the study of organizational behavior help to replicate it and maybe even improve it.

The Tata way is actually organizational behavior of the Tata group. The reason for the success of the Tata group is based on capability, they created their own way of organization behavior. Every business and every firm requires different set of organizational behavior and we can replicate a general organizational behavior for a firm but if you want your firm to be successful then you need to modify the organizational behavior your firm like the Tata group

There are many different aspects to evaluate in an organizational analysis. This paper will describe these many aspects and apply the categories to the University Medical Center (UMC) as the organization being analyzed.

For many, they will do just about anything, include being unethical. No boundary, no barrier, no obstacle will stop them. Richard L.D considers that organisation was a clear goal, a well-designed structure and coordinating the activities of the system, social entities associated with the external environment. Along with the development of the economy, organisational culture's influence on employee behavior is the most used more and more big, in general, organisational culture is refers to the organisation in long-term survival and development for the organisation which is formed by the holdings of members and is said to follow the value of the system. Organisational structure refers to all members of the organisation to achieve organisational goals and the division of writing, the scope of duties, responsibilities, rights, etc formed by the structure of the system. Developing the ideas of Harrison , Handy describes four main type of organisational cultures: the power culture; Role culture and task culture, and the person culture.
Modern management was greatly influenced by researchers such as: Adam Smith, Frederick Taylor, Elton Mayo, Abraham Manslow, Douglas McGregor and Rensin Likert. There are many different management approaches today and they all have evolved from the styles of the past. During my research of these individuals I learned how each of them played an important role in molding of modern management styles. I will describe in detail how each of these great researchers contributed to modern day management styles.
We see terrible management all over the world, whether be it Mauritius or even the United States of America, and there are numerous approaches to keep the mistakes that these management make from happening. The significance of good management cannot be underlined any longer with regards to the business environment. Managers need to comprehend their occupations and consider their obligations as important as could reasonably be expected to keep from disturbing the sensitive balance of the work environment. If a manger does not do so, they can have damaging effects on employees and the firm as a whole.
There is an endless list of skills that the managers should have in order to be effective, but the 4 basic skills that discussed by Robbins and Decenzo in their book are conceptual skills, interpersonal skills, technical skills (Katz 1974), and political skills (Pavett, Lau 1983). These skills will be discussed later in this essay together with their importance. Based on the above researches, a conclusion will be remarked in the end of the essay.
According to Ratan Tata , he deemed the company reputated, he acknowledged that fact but he did not believe it had a brand name, their is a difference between the two and Ratan was pursuing the factors that would make Tata group a brand name. He pursued and experimented different methods ,a notable example would be the increasing involvement of the group with the Indian youth.As a result , Tata is now perceived by the youth as an innovative,thrusting, forward-looking company,which would not have been the case 20 years
It is made very clear by all Gurus of Management how important is to take into consideration every aspect of an organisation. They all have different points of view, whereas one of them believes that the issue of a modern company relates to the way that the job positions are constantly changing, the other believes that the atmosphere of the company is the crucial point of progress. Above all, they all claim for a change in the way that managers are managing, as they believe that the middle management is holding companies back and should be left behind. In turn, individuals should be able to work on their own, which consequently would give people more satisfaction from their job, increasing cooperation and innovation, therefore setting the company in the way of success.
Ratan Tata during his tenure led the Tata Group of Companies for 21 years and established Tata as a world brand. Ratan Tata identified the needs, aspirations and drives of the people and accordingly responded to provide it in various ways (automobile, tea, power, health, fundamental research). The study of organizational behavior is one of the most significant elements in the management sciences, as it makes management learn from what has succeeded elsewhere. Generally, financial strength is a measure of the organizations past success. What determines whether the organization will continue to deliver sought-after products, will continue to develop cutting edge technology, will continue to make the right options about which direction the market is going to go, will continue to make sound investments, is the people and the organizational culture and structure.
