Explain How To Make Your Community A Better Place

What have you done to make your school or your community a better place?

As I was growing up, my mom always told me “do nice things for people and god will reward you in many ways”. I started to help out my church when I was fourteen years old. My job was to entertain the little kids and have them do play educational games.I enjoyed doing this because I love kids and working with them is a fun activity not just for them but for me. I get to play with them and see them have fun with me. I also helped keep the church clean from the inside and outside. By doing this I know I am making my community a better because I am helping out people and making a difference in the church. Another thing I have done to make my community a better place is help out clean the park. My job was to pick up trash and recycle any cans I found on the floor. It is important to keep the park clean because a lot of people come to relax at the park and have fun,

My counselor talked to me about it and told me it involved a lot of math so I decided to give it a try. After a couple days after being in that class I knew this would be the perfect elective for me because of all the math involved when it came to doing the lab and writing out my data. Math has influenced me in many ways. As I grew older I noticed that math is all over the world in many different ways. Math can be used when building a house and it amazes me how just building something can need so much math. Another way math can be used is at a simple job like running the cashier register. You have to keep track of people's change and know simple math. Another way math has influenced me is by wanting to get a type of career that includes math and different type of formulas. I am not sure yet what major I want to get yet, but one thing is sure It's going to include
