1. Describe yourself in terms of personality and values and how it affect your work persona (your person-job or person-organization fit and the way you relate with your boss or coworkers). Include at least (a) one of the big five personality traits, (b) one of the MBTI traits, (c) one value, and (d) another personal characteristics described in the chapter. (See link below the questions to take the MBTI test). The results I received from taking the MBTI test, consider my personality to be classified as a protagonist personality, which includes mainly extrovert, intuitiveness, feeling, judging, and assertiveness. I was shocked to see that protagonist personalities only make up two percent of the population. On my results, it stated I was fifty-seven percent extrovert and forty-three percent introvert, which is almost a close balance between the two and this is exactly what I feel about my personality in this category. I believe that it is great to have a balance between these two because it can help you in any type of job or conflicting situation you may have, because you have the ability to participate within a group or to work by yourself, just as effectively. Depending on the circumstances destructive or constructive conflicts can both arise from having a dominant facet in this category when making decisions. For example, if in an spousal relationship one individual makes the decision in the relationship as a thinker and orients him or herself completely based on logistics then it arises a destructive conflict.
