Exploring Personality: Self-Assessment and Perception

Personality is a big thing of what makes us human. It makes us all different from one another and it makes the world exciting. Every day we run into people who have similar personalities to us and people who have completely opposite personalities then we do. I personally believe that my personality is calm and collective but we will see how it stacks up against the three tests that are required to take and other people’s perception of my personality. I decided that it would be best just to go with the first three options because there is no reason to over complicate things when all of them are free. The first one was called "The Big Five Personality Test" and I have to agree with most of the information it was telling me about myself. 50% introvert, 50% Sensing, 28% Thinking and 6% of Perceiving. I do have to say that I consider myself to be more of an introvert then an extrovert. It’s just nicer to stay at home and not have to worry about other people being stupid or doing stupid things. I can do stupid things at home without people watching. I am a little confused with it saying that I am more thinking then feeling because I feel like sometimes If something feels right then I would do it but I guess more of the time If I think something is going to benefit me I will do it. It also says I am slightly more Perceiving Then Judging which I think is false. I think I judge people all of the time. Based on these results it seems like I would be much better in life if I started to come more of the life of the party. I just need to share my ideas when I think about them and not worry about what other people will think about them. These personality tests seem to be all over the board with my results.
