Everyone has plans. Weather they want to become a scientist and discover new and amazing things, or become a star basketball player and be the highest paid player in the league. I have plans for the future, just like everyone else, and I will do whatever it takes to achieve it. When I entered my middle school years of school, I had dreamed of being a Teacher’s Assistant, something I had wanted to be since I was a child and went to Head Start. Now, here I am in my senior year in high school wanting to do the same job I have dreamed about. Now I come to a time in my life where I chose what to do with my future, chose what will make me happy. My future plan consists of working at Head Start and from this career field, I will have much satisfaction. My future plans of working at Head Start will bring me much satisfaction because I will have the ability to work with others. Being able to work with others is great because the viewpoints of others are heard. Hearing others viewpoints can help me in many ways by coming to a conclusion with what to do next, having ideas for an upcoming project that I would need to think of, and also for what to expect at the next upcoming meeting. Another reason why working with others will bring me much satisfaction is because you can learn the differences between the eras that they grew up in, and what life was like when they were younger. Also while working with others, the tasks that …show more content…
Secondly, I will have the ability to learn about the children’s development because I get to see the children’s fine and gross motor skills improve, and watch the children make friends. Lastly because I will have the ability to communicate with the children by determining their feelings, and making sure the children are satisfied and
Throughout my life, I had continually believed that once I graduated college, I would engage in an action filled career. I wanted to be a police officer, a firefighter or even an undercover FBI agent. I had planned on studying criminal justice, and I took numerous high school classes based on it. Nevertheless, my plan transformed the summer between my junior and senior years. It was my grandma that influenced me to transform my criminal justice plan into a nursing plan. For most of my life, I may not have acknowledged exactly what I wanted to do when I grew up, but I did know that I sought to help people.

As a small child all I could dream about was the future; freedom, a family, a job but that all starts with college. When I was in the seventh grade an organization came to my school called Talent Search. I learned that this group helps students learn more about college and will take students for free to visit colleges across Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado and so many more. Upon hearing about this group I knew I needed to join so I could someday have all the things I desire. After joining and traveling to handfuls of colleges and filling out endless paperwork, I started to receive
Babies and children need to have positive interactions and form firm attachments from the earliest stages, and feel reassured emotionally by the adults around them. It is very important to give children praise, encouragement and guidance because it will help them develop a greater sense of self-worth. Children will in turn be able to form positive relationships and friendships with their peers through their interactions. Physical development is very important for children it involves children’s health, physical strength, mobility and sensory abilities.
As a seventh grade student, I took a science course because it was required. At first I was scared about how well I would do and if I would get a good grade throughout the year. When the school year started, I met my teacher and he seemed really nice and he turned out to be an awesome teacher. I excelled in my science seven class and overthrew my fear of getting poor grades. My seventh grade year was the year I determined what I wanted to go to college for and that would be life science education. As I moved up the scale throughout high school I became a better student, a better athlete, and a better leader. I had the support of my family, my teachers and my friends. This helped me achieve the major goals I had set out for myself.
There are many benefits to quality early childhood learning one being socialization, which is teaching children to form friendship outside of family by meeting new people in school (Votruba-Drzal & Dearing, 2015). Socialization helps children overcome shyness and gain self-confidence which are essential tools to carry into adulthood. Secondly, children learn cooperation and to work with others. In a learning environment with other children a child learns the concept of sharing, taking turns and perseverance, this is especially important for children who are unused to sharing at home. Another benefit is children gain enthusiasm for learning and value for education at this stage. Learning in early childhood involves play and ensuring the learning process is fun. Having fun while learning fosters a love of learning, reading, and discovery and gives them a new perspective on why education is
All your life growing up, you don 't have to make any big decisions. This all changes senior year when you have to make a decision about what you are going to do with your life after high school. What you choose to do can dictate how you spend your time and money. If you do not make a choice you will not be able to move on towards being a self supporting adult. Decisions are hard to make but essential to keep moving forward.
What is my personal purpose? Is a question that I have never thought to ask myself until recently. Then when I started learning more about a personal purpose I started wondering if I have one and what it was. I never thought of myself has having a real purpose until a watched an interview Will Smith had did and he had said “When your life means something to someone other than yourself than you have a purpose.” That is when I realized that I have a purpose. My purpose is that I am the hug that let others know it is going to be ok. My personal goals is to be genuinely happy with myself and life and to make my parents proud, my career goal is to own my own business and being successful at doing so, finally, my educational goal is to get my bachelors degree and grauate with honors and even moving on to getting my masters. Having goals is important to me because I know that while I am in the process of accomplishing them I will have something great to look forward to in the end.
What will I do for the rest of my life? Every person asks this question at some stage of their life, usually during their later teenage years. As a high school junior, I am now asking myself this question. After considerable thought, I have devised a tentative plan for my future. I realize that some of these plans and goals may change over time, but with a plan, the first steps of the journey can begin. To prepare me for the journey, I have taken very challenging high school curriculum, such as Honors and Advanced Placement courses. These classes will not only assist in my admission to college, but have also helped me to develop strong study skills and time management.
Many people tend to set goals. They can set goals for their personal life, academics, or even for their professional lives. You can literally set a goal for pretty much anything you can imagine. I believe that people should set goals, they help you stay focused and want to do better for the future. Goals change all of the time though, because of a lot of different reasons, maybe you found that one thing just really is not what you want to do with your life, so you find something else to do. To me that is just how life is, my goals will most likely change as I am getting older and trying to find what I want to do with the rest of my life.
The four learning goals are: knowledge (consists of facts, concepts, ideas, and vocabulary), skills ( small units of action that occur in short period of time), disposition ( respond to certain situations), and feelings ( emotional states) ( Katz 2003). With an successful care giving and early education, it can bring an positive outcome to a child’s life. What a child learns in their early years are things that will continue to helps them along in their future in school and in the real world. When a child is introduced to early childhood education, they can enhance many benefits from it. The benefits that a child will encounter when set into an early education program are: they are less likely to be antisocial and repeat a grade, achieve higher levels of achievement, are more likely to graduate from high school, be more prepared to enter school, and have higher IQ’s (CPPP1999). Early education can help a child show their abilities from learning to their parent and teacher which will help the parent and teacher have positive expectations for the child. In an personal interview with five year old Cochran (2003) said, “ I like showing my mom what I learn. My favorite thing that I have learned is the alphabet in sign language. I have twenty new friends.” As a child starts to grow in life, their first three years is when their brain development increases most. By the age two, the brain has grown about 75 % of it’s adults weight, and by the age five it has reached to 90% (Steinberg 1995). Interaction is a go...
After doing the developmental plan of my personal goal, I felt that this was an eye opener for me. I always have a plan just like a bucket list, but went I started writing out each topic of my personal goals and thought everything out it gave me a clear vision of what my goal really meant to me. My ideal future would be being able to travel to places where I’ve been as well as to places where I haven’t been. I’d imagine myself being happy because I’d have everything I’ve ever wanted. Getting married, buying a house- even if it were a small house with only a few bedrooms in a quiet neighbourhood. After buying a house(,) I’d have a child so that I could spoil them the way my parents spoiled me. In my ideal future(,) I would work at home so that I could be able to spend time with my family I would be my own boss. On my spare time that I would have I would start a an animal shelter one in a foreign country I would help stray animals have a home, people who can not afford to have pets could come play with dogs and cats as well as adopt them. I’d also keep myself entertained by being activite and having my own gymnastics gym.
Now that we have explored my past, present, and future experiences with diversity, it is time to see how they are present within and effect each other. Firstly, let’s look into how my future is present in my past. The most obvious portion of my future that is in my past is my willingness and efforts to love and include everyone and to spread this world view. It took a fellow classmate of mine to demonstrate to my third grade self that we are all human beings and we all deserve to be treated as such. In my future, I aspire to demonstrate this world view to my students and inspire them to treat each other accordingly. This aspiration directly reflects my world view struggles I went through in third grade, for I want to help my students come to
