When I first started my new job a little over a year ago, it was hard to come in to take over someone’s position. When my team had been there for years, they don’t accustom to change very well. I have been working hard to get them to change their minds to change. I explain to them that changes are a good thing. I think sometimes, we come into a new position and expect the employees to welcome you in right away. That never happens, I am trying to gain their mutual respect and trust every day that I work with them.
