Communication and employability skills for IT
Specific attributes:
• Technical skills: Technical skills are skills that will you need specific types of jobs. They are necessary for the different types of job roles. For example if you are doing any kind of fixing job they must know how to use the tools for their job. You need a certificate to prove that you have skills for example for a cooking certificate to show that you can cook.
Employers value technical skills because without having knowledge you can’t use the tools that required for the jobs and won’t be able to finish the specific types of jobs. • Organisational skills: Organisation skills are skills which will helps you to organise your work, your work place and yourself. This helps to do work efficiently. For example you will need the information and equipment’s for the job you’re doing.
Employer’s value organisation skills because well organised employee often do better task then others, for example if you are well organised and also your workplace and you keep the equipment/tools are kept tidily often impress your boss. This also saves your time so don’t have walk around to find your work/files if they are kept near you.
• Time management: Skills are similar to both of above skills. You need time management skills to complete the tasks on time. Well organised and having the right tools for your task helps you to complete the task on time and avoid the waste of time. To manage time you should have a dairy worth you or you can note down on your mobile/computer.
Employers value this skills because they like the employees who value the time and give their deadline on time and are make sure before they give their work, their work is organised.
