The best trip of my life has been a year ago on a trip to California with my mom, my aunt, and my cousins. It has been awhile since we had a trip together for as our parents are busy at work. California has been on my travel bucket list since I was in 8th Grade. I have always been intrigued by the palm trees, the Hollywood and especially the theme parks. Out of all the places, the most memorable place I have been in is Downtown Disney. Downtown Disney is an exquisite theme park in Anaheim, California. My family and I started our journey by taking a 3 hour plane trip from Bellingham, Washington going to Las Vegas. In the road from Las Vegas going to LA, there was nothing much to see, it was a deserted area, there were no trees unlike …show more content…
First we went to Disneyland, we got on a lot of rides, my favourite ride would probably be the Hollywood Tower and Cars Land. Hollywood Tower is like the Hellevator at Playland, but the ride is inside a hotel-like building with virtual ghosts. I was terrified with the Hollywood Tower since I have a phobia of heights. Cars Land is based on the movie Cars, it was the exact replica of the Radiator Springs. I was captivated by the breathtaking view for as I felt like I am actually in the movie. I was astonished at how they built every single detail of the Radiator Springs. There was a racing ride at Cars Land that I loved, it was really fast that my hair got messed up. While we were walking to get something to eat, I saw Goofy and Pluto and took pictures with them. As I walked in the streets, my brain is dancing into the groove of the jazz music through the hidden speakers. In the afternoon we watched the parade, I saw a bunch of Disney characters, it seemed to be watching in the movies of my childhood up closed. During the night, we went into the main castle to watch the fireworks display, there were a lot of people so we had a hard time looking for a great spot. The fireworks started and the music played, mostly Disney songs. The fireworks glimmer in the night, flames shoot high into the sky as colourful fireworks twinkled and dies. Every boom and loud …show more content…
We did not really go on many rides at California Adventures since we slept in until the afternoon. Afternoon time is usually when it starts to get crowded. My favourite ride in California Adventure would be the California Screaming. California Screaming is a roller coaster with the speed of 89 km/h. My cousin and I went into that ride twice because we both love roller coasters, especially the extreme ones. During the night, we went to the World of Colours—it is a show that features special effects and projected images on a water screen. We got to sit in the front seat and my family and I were glad, at first. As soon as the show started, the tube burst water into the thin air with images of the Disney Princesses. I got chills and goosebumps for such an amazing talent they have for putting all this together. I loved the effects of the water fountain and the images together they both meld with each other. After the night show, the front seat including us, were soaking wet. Though, I got sick the day after I did not regret it. I enjoyed spending my 3 days at Downtown Disney although I got sick the last day because of dehydration and exhaustion. After spending 3 days at Downtown Disney we spent a few more days to go to a different amusement park like Sea World, Legoland and Universal Studios. Also, we took the same way going back home to
After recording the behaviors of disabled and nondisabled guests at Downtown Disney, it became evident that the social construction of disability may have an influence on the amount of interest or engagement shown between individuals. Based on the observations recorded, it appears that the nondisabled people seemed to show a lack of interest or regard for the disabled people involved in the interactions. Although it may not have been overt, it seemed nondisabled people exhibited subtle signs of superiority over disabled people, appearing to treat them as if they were helpless or burdensome.
Disney world, Paris, Australia, Italy; all amazing places I’m sure, but I’ve never been. Although there is one place I have been to; it was none other than Blackpool Pleasure Beach!
You could fit all of Disneyland plus 500 more cars into the parking lot at Disney world. Disney world is 40 sq. miles. To put that in a visual for you it’s the size of all San Francisco. Walt Disney created Disney World because he wanted a place where families could spend quality time and fun together in a safe environment. Disney World’s Magic kingdom is number one world wide the most popular theme park in the whole world with Epcot at a close third. Also according to Buzzfeed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is the most enjoyed ride at Disney World, and you don’t want to miss out on that. In 1971, 10,000 people came to Disney World’s grand opening. Today the average attendance is 52,000 it says in temporary tourist. Disney world has changed
I took a trip to Colorado In July of 2015 it was the best week of my life. The best part of that week was the day that I got to spend in rocky mountain national park. It was a great experience with beautiful scenery and wildlife everywhere you looked. This trip changed everything I thought about where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do when I am finished with my schooling.
The next day we went to Hollywood Studios at Disney World. It was really hot that day, but it was still super fun. That was my first time going on a roller coaster. I was really scared, but my parents convinced me to go on one, and now I love roller coasters! We went on this ride that was supposed to be like flying through the sky around the world called Soarin’. It was a really cool experience. We also went on this ride called the Tower Of Terror. It was really fun.
It was kind of funny listening to my family react to getting wet, especially my grandma because she hates getting wet. Plus when we went down the long slide at the end, my heart felt like it was out of my chest. It was an exhilarating ride, and I had a good time on it. My uncle would say before our trip that Disney had the best fireworks that he ever saw, so I was looking forward to them since my uncle is kind of a pyrotechnic.
Disney World was the most memorable experience because I had a chance to meet Mickey and Minnie mouse, went on the most amazing rides, and got an opportunity to watch Beauty and the Beast Live.
If I could be anyone for a day, I would be an imagineer. Walt Disney World is a destination that has always been a favorite of mine. What fascinates me the most about the park si the animatronics. These carefully sculpted pieces of art and technology showcase the attraction they are placed in. To be an imagineer would be the person I would what to be for a day, as I would be able to learn how these wonderful pieces of technology are brought to life in the parks. The combination of both technology and art is one of the most important aspects to these animatronics as it is what makes them look realistic. The animatronics use high tech pistons in order to create fluid mothison. However, in order to utilize them properly, an animator must
I have traveled with my family many places we've been to Florida, Maryland, and Detroit. I have been to Florida on many occasions because I have family who lives there. I've been taking family trips to Florida every since I was like six years old. I've also went to the beach and Disney World. Every time we would go to the beach, I would only put my feet in the water because I'm not a good swimmer. Yet, It was really exciting in Disney World because of all the rides and the games. I got a chance to take pictures with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, etc. I really enjoyed that trip to Florida, in 2005, when we went to Disney World, and the funny thing is that my family and I were all dressed the same.
Do you know how many Walt Disney World parks that have been built in the world? The answer is five. There is one in California, one in Florida, and others are in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Paris. Each of these parks are gorgeous places. Everybody in the world always wants to visit them at less one time in their life.
I have been to Disneyland in California, but that's not the same. I was sixteen when I attended the first day Walt Disney world's grand opening in Orlando, Florida happened. I remember going with my parents along with my brothers and sisters. On this very trip to Orlando today it's my children and grandchildren. Boarding the Plane eager to get to Florida already I take
After I finished eating I saw an amazing sight I’ll never forget. A casual Wednesday morning I woke up thinking I was going to school, but their was a box downstairs and I said to my mom “Why is their a box on the couch?” Little did I know my parents surprised me and said “We are going to DisneyWorld.” I was really excited! A few hours passed and we were boarding the plane. I was a little scared, but when we took off I realized it wasn't that bad.
Disneyland is definitely a childhood dream place for every living generation. It makes kids’ dreams come true while adults relive their childhood once more. Never in my life, I had imagined I would be going to Disneyland in Los Angeles. I would never forget the land of enchantment that made me reminisce my childhood. Rides, characters, shops and shows are just a few of the many great aspects in the amazing Disneyland.
They have all been very fun vacations. However, my three favorite vacations have been to Disney World, the Grand Canyon, and California/Arizona. My first favorite vacation is when we went to Disney World. We went in February 2015.
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
