Recommended: Describe Disneyland
Disneyland is definitely a childhood dream place for every living generation. It makes kids’ dreams come true while adults relive their childhood once more. Never in my life, I had imagined I would be going to Disneyland in Los Angeles. I would never forget the land of enchantment that made me reminisce my childhood. Rides, characters, shops and shows are just a few of the many great aspects in the amazing Disneyland. Disneyland has a very special place in my heart. It has always been my dream to go to Disneyland one day. And, I thank God for granting my tiny little dream. Entering the park, the cares and worries were all left behind. I was sent to a fantasy world where the pirates serenade and animals can sing. The notes of soothing music entered my ears, bringing me unprecedented comfort. The sounds of trains passing by with all the Disney movies soundtracks, allowed me to enter a world that does not exist. Laughter could be heard all around. Friendly smiles were seen on everyone’s lips. Trees on the sidewalk were swaying softly, slight wind rustled the leaves making them falling on the road. The smell of the soft …show more content…
I can still remember shaking Minnie Mouse’s huge hands, hugging Goofy, taking pictures with Mickey Mouse and meeting the rest of the stars. It was a truly euphoric experience to meet my favorite Disney’s characters. I could not believe the beautiful sight that was right before my eyes. The Disney’s castle that was portrayed in all the Disney’s movies was right in front of me. I felt really blessed. The sounds of children whooping wildly from the exit of one ride to another ride, the roaring and whooshing sound of the rollercoaster could be heard all day. The scent of buttery popcorns with bright yellow butter and sweet smell of the cotton candy wafted across Disneyland. Ah! By smelling the aroma itself had made me
Disneyland is known to be the happiest place on earth. Walt Disney is the founder of this amusement park. Walt had ...
Disneyland marked the onset of theme parks in the nation, which was carved out of a fantasy tale and it has been the leader for 60 years. And, there was virtually no competition to the attraction quotient that attracted people and tourists to visit the theme park.
Most people, when they think of Disney, they think of “the happiest place on earth.” Walt Disney was the one to start all of this with all of his achievements in movies, television, and eventually the theme park. Disney created a character who’s
Walt Disney has brought two theme parks to life because of his imagination. He never stopped chasing his dreams, even if they seemed impossible. Walt Disney World came after Disneyland and it is located in Florida. Disney World is known to be the "most magical place on earth" and the place "where dreams come true". Many people haven't been to the park, so they might be skeptical of the "magic" that is held within. Walt Disney World is the "most magical place on earth" because of the rides, characters, shows, the electrical parade, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, and the infinitely growing attractions.
As every American knows Disneyland, "Happiest place on earth", but many people do not know much about the person behind Disneyland, Walt Elias Disney. Disney is best known for his many successes, such as famous movies like The Lion King, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, and The Little Mermaid. Disney is also known for the most famous amusement park in America, Disneyland and California Adventure (depends on who you are asking, Disneyland is the original park), for all ages to forget about reality, for children to be children, and adults to become the children they once were. However, people from around the world only see and hear of Disney's successes. What people are forgetting is how Disney became famous. As a child Disney had
Everything in the parks is done for family, joy, and, of course, magic (Elias 1). Milt Thurman is a Disney fan that has said that Disney “is a nice, safe place to be” and that “it’s not today; it’s not tomorrow, its forever. It’s just a great place (Stein 6).” Whenever somebody walks into the parks, there is always a feeling that is great. The feeling of love, compassion, hope, and belief in the future are the feelings that people get when walking into the parks each time. This feeling comes from the cast members and the park as a whole. As people walk into the parks, the first thing seen is the bright colors, smiling faces of everyone, and also the characters. The whole idea of having fun, being excited, having hope and falling in love is what everyone wants (Stein 3). People instantly fell in love with Disneyland because it took them into a world of fantasy for a chance to relax and become part of the stories associated with their childhood memories of watching the Disney movies (Stein 1). At the same time, the art of family-friendly storytelling remains the core (Stein 2). When Walt was creating and designing Disney, he had many goals he wanted to meet. All he wanted was the greatest creative effort, not the most efficient operation. He also believed that giving people the right motivation was the best and only way to accomplish his dream. Disney had an obsession with the park, and always looked at it
The sound of music, filling the air with happiness, resonates throughout the area. The scent of delicious buttery popcorn and glazed turkey legs that go on for miles and miles. The feeling of excitement coming into the place is felt in the atmosphere. It is the image of a once in a lifetime moment. When people come in, their imaginations become reality. The name describes itself perfectly. Walt Disney World is the place of dreams and imagination. People come from all around the world to see the rides, characters, food and the entertainment of Walt Disney World. I remember when I went to Disney World this past March. It was the third time I have gone to Disney World. To see the amazement and the expectation of the
It’s pretty sad when I dream of the “happiest place on earth” and it turns into a nightmare. Disney acts as a drug that affects people’s perceptions on life. People would quit college and their well paying jobs just to join the Disney “cult.” I have friends back in Orlando who didn’t go to college just so they could keep their employment. I’d rather not be dehydrated, sweaty, and in a clique just so I can work for the “big cheese.” Walt Disney World is like the apple for Eve--- it looks intriguing, but there’s something not right about it, and in the end it’s evil.
As one can see, Disney World is the place to be. Most people think that Walt Disney World is a place for children but there are attractions and things for people of all ages to do. I have been to Disney World many times and have loved every second of it. If you ever need a good place to bring children or visit with friends to make lifelong memories, just remember it all started with a mouse.
So have you ever been to Disney World? Most of you probably have been there. I didn’t go to Disney World until November of last year with my family. I wasn’t sure what it would be like, but it was incredible. It was a lot of fun, and it was a great experience because I was with my family.
The music, the people, the food, the castle, My dream is to work at DisneyLand because of the amazing disney characters. If I worked at disneyland I would want to have the amazing dream of seeing the castle, seeing the characters, and the obstacles of working in disneyland.I think it would be a dream come true.
First we went to Disneyland, we got on a lot of rides, my favourite ride would probably be the Hollywood Tower and Cars Land. Hollywood Tower is like the Hellevator at Playland, but the ride is inside a hotel-like building with virtual ghosts. I was terrified with the Hollywood Tower since I have a phobia of heights. Cars Land is based on the movie Cars, it was the exact replica of the Radiator Springs. I was captivated by the breathtaking view for as I felt like I am actually in the movie.
Disneyland has changed my life entirely. The amusement park that Walt Disney created is a phenomenal place that has given me some of the greatest memories in my life. No year would be complete without going to Disneyland during Spring Break. It is truly one of the greatest places ever to visit in the entire world.
Ever since I was about six years old, I wanted in the worst way to go to Disneyland. I would hope every year that my parents would chose Disneyland as our next family vacation destination. I dreamt of the day I would come back from Disneyland with exciting tales of adventure and a pair of sparkly, ruby red and black Minnie Mouse ears of my very own that would be the envy of every kid in my elementary class. Once I finally went to Disneyland, it was amazing; Disneyland was everything I had expected and more. However, a couple years later when I returned to Disneyland, it was different. The rides, buildings, and everything in the park did not have the same allure. The magic I had experienced as a child was no longer there.
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
