Our positive reputation drives our business. The loss of trust among the community is not an avenue we wish to explore. It is our hope that if executed properly, this plan will get us back on track to continue doing what we do best, serving our community.
Purposes
In the event of a crisis, a crisis communications plan provides an organization with the tools to provide a timely and cohesive response minimizing damage ensuring a quick recovery. The steps outlined in the plan are useful for a crisis but it is also valuable practice even in normal conditions to promote the overall well-being of the organization.

...g by; First, I would make sure that their is plenty of feedback for the employees. As our text suggests, "Without feedback, learning can not occur"(Crandall, W., Parnell, J. & Spillan, J. (2013). Secondly, I would make sure that I have a great crisis management team that are well trained and drilled. Thirdly, we would have a strategy and plan for crisis events. Also, It is very important to make sure that your team members are all confident in their ability to make good decisions for the company. So many times, people are afraid to make decisions. This leads to scapegoating within the departments, and the whole blame game. That doesn't get anybody anywhere.
The company should be honest and acknowledge that they have made a mistake. On all interviews the company should express sympathy and regret for those affected and immediately promise that the company will pay all medical costs associated with the crisis. The company should also say the latest news on the crisis and ensure the public that the company has a handle on the problem. Listing places customers can ask questions and seek help about problems related to the crisis can be very appreciated by the customers knowing that the company cares about them.
Every year doctors diagnose thousands of adults and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Due to the growing awareness of autism and recent developments in technology, scientists and doctors can now discover and observe the effects of autism on society, and people. Starting with its discovery, researchers have been able to diagnose people more effectively. Doctors are beginning to discover what causes this disorder, and are currently trying to find ways to prevent and treat it. Many places have opened their doors to people with this disorder, creating autistic friendly environments where people are patient and understanding. Schools have also become accommodating to autistic children and adults. Autism also puts great strain on family and home lives.
In our society communication is a key component and vital to existence in success in this day in age. Not only communication but social skills, motor skills, and our basic senses are the platforms on which we build off of, well, in the world of autism communication is impacted and for that reason an audible disturbance can come off as a heavy impairment…..to the naked eye. In my experience working with autistic boys & girls has showed me the sheer beauty and honesty of how they communicate and relay their feelings and emotions. The autism spectrum disorder is commonly known. Autism has wide spectrum of severity ranging from low to high and in between. A Product-Harm Crisis can mean the end of a corporation. A Product-Harm Crisis (although considered to be low in probability of occurring), may have severe consequences for a company if not handled properly. For this reason, potential risks associated with a product should be monitored on a continual basis. So much that - without warning, a Product- Harm Crisis can progress into a catastrophic incident that can quickly destroy a business’ future. Since, crises are often difficult to anticipate and prevent (Vassilikopoulou, Lepetsos, Siomkos, Chatzipanagiotou, 2008). Indeed, a Crisis Communication Management Plan is necessary, as it assists in monitoring and detecting potential risks associated with a product. Equally important is that a Crisis Communication Management Plan includes a strategic communication –blue print- crucial in a Product- Harm Crisis incident. And so, the goal of this paper is to explain factors contributing to a Product-Harm Crisis and how a Crisis Management Plan is effective in the first phase of a Product-Harm Crisis incident.
On September 25, 2017, Lisa Gore, M.S., CCC-SLP, a clinical instructor from the Texas Tech University Health and Sciences Center, spoke to the class about Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). She began by presenting a power point demonstrating the characteristics, behaviors, and strategies that are utilized with an individual on the autism spectrum scale. Ms. Gore then ended her presentation with a variety of video clips broadcasting individuals with autism interacting in different environments. The videos displayed the diversity of autism by the different behaviors and skills the individuals with autism possessed in each interaction. Ms. Gore began the class by stating autism is a lifelong disorder affecting an individual’s social interaction,
The number of children that display autistic traits keeps rising and the need for services is at an all-time high. Out of 10,000 children born, 60 to 100 children and families will be affected by autistic spectrum disorder (Gulberg, 2010). Autism is characterized by a lack of connection to other people, even parents, and an avoidance of interpersonal situations (Feldman, 2011). Children with autism also show limited, repetitive and stereotypical patterns of behavior, interest, and activities. Not one child with autism is the same as the next; each child has their own severity and indicators of autism. A child with intellectual disabilities and a gifted child can both be given the diagnosis of being on the autism spectrum, because of the wide range of severities. Many of these children will not attend special schools, but instead be included in the general education population by inclusion. Inclusion has been found to have a number of benefits for children with autism. In addition, negative perspectives have also come into play when discussing autism and inclusion. Furthermore, parents have the right to make decisions for their child on an individual basis.

In ninth grade, Olivia demonstrated the positive roles she would play throughout high school, and we quickly came to rely upon her as a vital participant in all areas of school life. In a variety of settings, I have observed her contributions to other students and the larger community. One of Olivia’s passions is working with children with autism. This spark began in 2nd grade, when she met,
The communication process is not something that begins when a crisis rears its ugly head rather it is a process that takes place in preparing for a crisis before it happens. While the term crisis represents a blanket term used to describe many situations, each situation is unique, thus presenting different obstacles to overcome. However, with a well-established advanced plan in place an organization places itself in a position to overcome and work around obstacles. The development of a comprehensive crisis management plan is one achieved through effective communication where each member of the crisis management team has an advanced shared understanding of his or her role and responsibility during a time of crisis (du Pr'e, 2005).
My third task was deciding on whether to come clean about what really happened on how those people were injured by the equipment. I decided to use great publicity choosing to do a major communication exercise and come completely clean, which was the correct choice. because that act alone could help restore credibility for the company. Handling a crisis can be very difficult for a company? But what?
