Please allow me to draw your attention to the following considerations that, to my mind, determine my suitability to have my stale law degree reactivated.
Notwithstanding, my unsuccessful attempt at the 2007 BPTC, at UWE, Bristol, I have persisted in my chosen field of law and aligned with young motivated lawyers. In this way I have kept abreast of the development in law. Namely, I worked at Mr. Carlos James law chambers. While there I consolidated my knowledge on conferencing, criminal law, case preparation, filing claims in the court, land law and Trust, among other skills. These skills set were further augmented by working at the Ministry of Agriculture. At the Ministry of Agriculture I am the legal advisor to the Minister. In addition in my spare time, I do pro buno work with Mr. Israel Bruce legal chambers, performing the similar duties to that which I did at Counsel James Chambers. To a large extent I continued with my career and am functioning substantially in the manner I would have had I passed the bar. The difference is that I do not have right of audience in the court and not being able to function at the top level of the legal field.

Reviewing legislature and making recommendations for improvement has made more attentive to details. In all the circumstances of my work experience have solidified, developed and broaden the base of the legal knowledge gained in the degree
Personal Statement Throughout my career, I have acquired an understanding and a passion for the law and the entertainment industry. The excitement of this opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of law through the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, an online certificate program in Entertainment and Law, I am thrilled. Consistently being a part of dynamic, diverse of teams I have gained knowledge from judges to musicians and graduate students. Understanding the process of the law is a continuous learning endeavor.
I hope that through this experience I can grow my understanding of the legal system and its affects on others. I feel as though working diligently with those who are in dire need of legal help will advance me in the path of law at a rapid pace. Being immersed with people who have
Around the age of five, I was introduced to my first college campus experience. I went to a close cousins graduation ceremony, and she showed me around the school. From that day forward I always knew that I wanted to achieve academic success. I have already started taking great strides toward reaching my goals, and I am a strong believer that Rutgers will be a great stepping stone in helping me move forward. I choose Rutgers University because it possesses a myriad of things that a student who is interested in a vast campus, diversity, and campus involvement such as myself can use to my advantage. I will be going in as a criminal justice student. I know Rutgers has a very high rated criminal justice program that will make me a competitive candidate post graduation. The academic excellence Rutgers University possesses will not only aid me while in school, but long after I graduate.
My major is Paralegal Studies and I expect to graduate with an Associates of Arts degree in December of this year. Many years ago, as an investigator for both a private company and a county agency, I was introduced to the legal field. Recently, I was awarded the opportunity to attend college, so I decided I wanted to reenter the legal profession as a paralegal. The paralegal profession appeals to me, because I enjoy the processes of developing a case, as well as its legal aspects. A paralegal is involved in a case from the beginning to the end; from the initial client interview to assisting the attorney during the client’s trial or the settlement process. My goal is to become a paralegal for a solo practitioner or a small firm in my local area who represent clients in different areas of the law.
Being a detective was a fantasy that charmed me deeply in my childhood. Every night before sleep, my father always told me the stories from the Sherlock Holmes. Beside those fantastic stories, what I truly enjoyed and admired was the sophisticated problem-solving skills that Sherlock had. It was he, who can resolve the complex evidence network by infinitesimal links and then reveal the entire plot precisely in the end. I really wish I could achieve what Sherlock is capable of, however, thanks to the prosperous world we are living in and the great development in the economy, my dream could now be fulfilled by becoming a detective in financial fields – the consultant. Despite successfully achieved a first degrees in Cass Business School recently,
I have always taken an interest in Criminal Justice and crime prevention ever since middle school and I set out to make my career goal to become a Criminal Justice professional. Thus, pursuing a Criminal Justice master’s degree has been a part of my plans for the future and will become one of my core focuses that I will set up in my graduate studies. It will also enable me to become a more competent working professional and encourage me to advance towards the doctoral program.
My best (and favorite) subject in school is Math. Ever since I was very little I have loved math, and worked very hard at it. When I do not fully understand topics I do extra problems to make sure that they become clear to me. I spend a lot of time working on math to make sure I understand the topics throughly. I have been in math clubs since 4th grade, and in 7th grade I represented my school at the MathCounts® competition where I won a two silver pins. I won the Virginia State Math Award in 7th grade, and this year I got an 800 in math on my SSAT. As a result of my hard work I am currently one of three students in my school to be in the highest math group, Precalculus.

Whoosh!A bed whizzed by, surrounded by about 6 medical personnel. “What’s going on?” I thought immediately with apprehension. I knew whatever was happening it was not ideal. Ensuring I was not in the way, I stood on my toes to see what demanded so much attention. To my astonishment, I saw a coin sized hot-pink little girl. She could not have been bigger than two quarters lying side by side. She was struggling! Even with all the procedures the doctors were executing to save her life, she was performing the most work.
Personal Statement Since I was young, I actively watched crime shows, which procedures and trials fascinated me. In addition to this interest, my dad instilled this desire for me to be a part of law enforcement since he worked for the Texas Department of Public Safety. At first, I thought about being a lawyer, but I knew this career would not satisfy me for long. I needed something with more action and more tailored to my passions.
As I open the glass doors and step into Palmieri Tyler Law firm, I can still feel that rush of excitement I felt since day one. Working at Palmieri Tyler Law firm has been both rewarding and a privilege. I still remember my first day as an intern, as I walked in, I was rapidly introduced to a respectful paralegal who was working on a major project. As we shared a few words she then asked for my help and so I began my first project at the law firm. I was responsible for creating new labels for her folders and re-organizing the files effectively in order to create a more efficient filing system.
As law is essentially the bedrock of society, I have a great fascination for all of its pragmatic developments and the ways that it can adjust to a forever changing society. My curiosity in law began at a very early age, when I was exposed to the subject. I occasionally accompanied my grandfather and father to the courts and was quick to imitate the meticulous, critical, negotiating
My previous work experiences have been fundamental to my progress. Especially whilst shadowing a barrister at both Thames Magistrate Court and Snaresbrook Crown Court. This experience enabled me to refresh the preconceptions (such as those from TV productions) in favour of a more realistic insight into the legal field. I sat in 32 cases, each case reiterating my inner yearning to study Law. I would have strong views on how I’d potentially handle each case which established that I’d later use my law degree to become a barrister/which confirmed my thoughts of Law as a career.
Everybody’s brain is unique, and works in different ways. One person may not be able to spell, but may excel in mathematics. Another person may not be able to compute algorithms, but may write beautiful essays. This diversity allows society to flourish. Sometimes, however, a person’s abilities and interests are incongruent.
