Creating the website
I started the draft on Adobe Dreamweaver. However, I changed my initial plans I had for the website because it was time consuming. Therefore, I wanted to make the task simple and ensure that the website looked professional. As well as, add information which tourists will find useful. Therefore, I changed my plan for the website. Also, I added a map and images on the website and created the hotspot. I did this for all the sections and added information about each topic which I wrote about. Moreover, I ensured the size of the images and font style is the same because I wanted my website to look professional and I wanted to make it stand out and seem more appealing. I wanted to make my website as stated earlier appealing. Therefore, this made my website look engaging. This also meant that the client will be overwhelmed with the outcome of the website. As well as, it will look more appealing than other tourist websites, which is my aim. The weakness was it was time consuming. This meant that I had to spend extra time doing this website. Another weakness was there was technical issues, which meant it was time consuming. On the other hand, I didn 't have the software Adobe Dreamweaver, which I bought to ensure I create a professional website. It was an expensive software. However, I wanted to make my website look appealing and satisfy the client. The improvements I could have made that is that I could have spent more time on creating my website rather having more lessons on doing the planning.
Furthermore, in my spare time I added videos and changed the layouts, it was time consuming; however I wanted my website to look more professional and engaging. This made my website stand out. As well as, I received posit...

...e in my free time. I had to make time for this as I wanted my website to look professional. Also, I searched on YouTube as stated earlier on how to add videos and further information so I could add these to my website. It was time consuming and sometimes I had to watch it longer. However, I did develop my skills. Moreover, I could watch more videos seeing other skills until I am professional. It will help me for future purposes.
Many of the features I included, the form and the video are heavily based around the use of html code as well. In these cases, I simply copied the code into the webpage to make them appear in the position I wanted. For features that were too complicated for me to insert using html code I used the bars. Although, these were slightly more time consuming, they did not run as high risk of error as there is with manually entering the html code.
Web sites are just like magazines, newspapers, brochures, menus, or even directions on how to make nitroglycerin from house-hold goods, in that they all have to be put together in such a manner that whoever is reading or browsing over it will be able to clearly distinguish this from that. In this sense, a critique of any particular web site will have justification, while carefully considering also that this is an altogether new medium of information exchange. Now, all of this talk of togetherness is actually a general reference to basic design principles, such as color coordination, if color is used, text size, font choice/ style, art integration, accessibility, and just plain and simple design of the page. For example, it wouldn't be all that appealing to the eyeball if a page being viewed had all the text jumbled up in a corner, so small your eyes were bleeding by the time you figured out that it wasn't even worth the trouble. Darn. It's important to rememeber, especially these days, that what you read is as important as how it looks. Have you ever tried reading an interview in a Raygun magazine? Kinda hard, right? Design totally for its own sake is nice, as art that is, and admittedly it looks cool. However, it's two in the morning and you're standing in line at the corner 7-11 trying to pay for your 40 ounce bottle of Kool-Aid, and you happen to see that your favorite MTV Pearl Crap-clone band is on the cover of this hip magazine and you go to read it, but you can't. It's not because to you failed elementary school three times in two years, but because the maestro in charge decided to get fancy with it and thought it'd be cool if he hid the text under a black box or likewise photograph. I like to loo...
How were you first introduced to CS? How have you continued to develop your technical skills and seek additional exposure to the field?
The English course forced me to become more organized by breaking down every project into different processes which compelled me to make a continuous effort for the class, which differ from the usual standards at high-school. Since I did not work under pressure, my ideas were able to flow more naturally and my work was of higher quality. As I created the webpage, which is artifact 1, the detailed process served as a guidance in how to proceed with my webpage, which included multiple modalities thoughtfully and synergistically. Understating the genre and audience as well as the rhetorical process generated a detailed de...
...teach effectively. I am excited though to have my portfolio online, although that will not happen until later on in my education.
As we discussed the potential of such software we realized this might be a way for our students who missed class to not miss out on learning. Thus, we began to record our live lessons using screen capture software. We posted our lectures online so our students could access them. When we did this, YouTube was just getting started and the world of online video was just in its infancy. In all honesty, we recorded our lessons out of selfishness. We were spending inordinate amounts of time re-teaching lessons to students who missed class, and the recorded lectures became our first line of defense.
Suggestion: I believe a website is useless without clear navigation. It should be concise, clear and selective. The navigation part of the website needs to have names for various pages on the site. Goals and ideas should be clear and obvious
Next is in terms of the design and aesthetics. Layout that being used for this website is a plain white which easier people to read the text that is in black, in contrast and suitable for the concept of showroom online. The font is also suits which is not too big and not too small to be read by people. To highlight the main subject or the main product, the font is being bold to alert customers that they choose the right one. There is no audio available for this website or even a video. But somehow, as it was a home furnishing website, most of the pictures being used by the website is in JPEG format to deliver a clear view of the products to customers.
This gave me unique facts about YouTube but did not give me the information that I wanted to know. I have also watch how YouTube processes videos that people upload, giving me the glue of how YouTube made videos easy to access. The videos gave me more of a history of YouTube but not answering the big question of mine. Whereas my question is about, why YouTube did became the place to see videos online, the videos that I have seen only have scratch the surface of my

Scrupulously produced and properly shared videos will increase search engine ranking, open rates, conversions and click-through rates. According to a recent study by Forrester Research, a web page with video is fifty times more likely to appear on Page 1 of Google search results than a web page without video. Another study by Zappos reported that web pages with video convert 6-30% more clients than pages without video, while Vidyard reported over 100-percent increase in conversions for businesses that have incorporated video into their online marketing. Other recent studies have also indicated that around 57-percent of online consumers are more likely to buy a brand that they are considering purchasing after they have watched a video demonstration of the brand. And as the cost of creating videos continue to drop, both small and large businesses can use videos to set their marketing apart and gain the edge over their competitors.

After visiting and examining the PBS Web site, I was able to conclude that it is an extremely successful entertainment and educational site. The Web site has won many substantial awards, including the prestigious "Webbie Award" in 1998 and 1999. According to a recent survey, fifty-six percent of users at the PBS Web site are male and sixty percent are between the ages of eighteen and forty-four. Forty-four percent of the Web site users have children and fifty-seven percent make online purchases. (Gallup/Plaw Release: Survey of 40,000 Internet Users. Fall 1998.)

The last step in building a web page is the conversion from plane text and graphics to HTML code. All elements that make up the web pages are then to be combined graphics, plain text, even tables. The combined elements are then converted from plane text into HTML code. The easiest way to accomplish this daunting task if you have no prior experience of HTML programming is by using a computer program that is designed for the purpose of converting text, graphics, and other objects into HTML, such as Cute HTML, Trelix Web, or Netscape Composer.
...e it before it gets broadcasted. Training opportunities are easy to find because of how many people know how to edit videos very easily. I think this would help me very much. It is easy making money as a video editor because of how many clients are hiring right now. Most of these jobs are in the Texas area. Going to school for video editing is very good for getting more clients because a lot of the professors recommend their students to other people. I think it would be very fun as well.
