Web Page
The development and design of a basic web page can be a fun yet tricky task. Whether it’s a large commercial web page for business purposes, or a small personal web page about your hobby or family; the process of development is the same. The three major steps leading to the development and design of a basic web page include: information gathering, site layout and design, and HTML (hyper text markup language) conversion.
The most important task of developing and designing a web page is the gathering of information. You first need to brainstorm about what you would like the web page to consist of. Collect everything that you want to become part of the web page, from editorials and graphics to company information and history. It may be a good idea to get your hands on as much data as possible, and then decide what is to be used in the web page. Whatever material that you do not used may be discarded later. All information previously gathered is categorized in a hierarchy form from the most important to the least important.
Next, you have to develop the layout of the web page. You should draw some simple sketches to display the basic “look and feel” of the web page. The use of a specific theme or template should be used to maintain the same basic look throughout the web site. Keep the reader of the web site in mind when designing the web site. Most readers will not usually wait on large graphic files to load, especially on the home page.
Readers also dislike small and hard to read text. Remember that some older monitors and systems may not be able to view higher resolutions; furthermore, some web browsers may be unable to view certain types of newer text.
The last step in building a web page is the conversion from plane text and graphics to HTML code. All elements that make up the web pages are then to be combined graphics, plain text, even tables. The combined elements are then converted from plane text into HTML code. The easiest way to accomplish this daunting task if you have no prior experience of HTML programming is by using a computer program that is designed for the purpose of converting text, graphics, and other objects into HTML, such as Cute HTML, Trelix Web, or Netscape Composer.
Lee, D. E., & Cooper, R. S. (2009). Recommendations for Global Hypertension Monitoring and Prevention. Current Hypertension Reports , 444-449.
Treatment for the client presenting to the APN diagnosed with hypertension, the first efforts should be focused on education. The patient should be informed of what current JNC 8 guidelines for the diagnosis of hypertension are. This will help the patient identify that he or she in fact has a problem and his blood pressure is abnormal. Further education should also include anticipated progression of the disease and complications from prolonged hypertension to help the patient understand the effects hypertension have on the body and risk of development of end-organ damage. Since hypertension is a silent disease, often void of symptoms, the patient must understand fully the implications of the disease and necessity to control the blood pressure.
Recently, the World Health Organization (WHO) has deemed hypertension or high blood pressure a global public health issue (World Health Organization, 2013). Not only does hypertension affect over 1 billion people worldwide but in the Unites States alone, about 76.4 million Americans over the age of 20, equating to about 1 in 3 adults, have hypertension (AHA, 2012). This growing health condition occurs when an individual’s blood pressure when the heart beats (systolic) is higher than 140 millimeter of mercury (mm Hg) and their blood pressure when the heart relaxes (diastolic) is 90 mm Hg or higher (AHA, 2012). The higher the blood pressure means more force is used to pump blood from the heart to arteries, which causes several health problems (AHA, 2012). For instance, the increased force stretches out blood vessels which may lead to tears and ruptures (AHA, 2012). This can also form blood clots that can stop blood from reaching other parts of the body which can cause other organs, specifically the heart, to become overworked (AHA, 2012). Unfortunately, hypertension is also known as a “silent killer” as it does not cause any symptoms (World Health Organization, 2013). If left untreated, hypertension can lead to cardiovascular disease and other fatal health consequences, such as heart attacks, strokes, and kidney failure (World Health Organization, 2013). In fact, the WHO estimates that hypertension accounts for 9.4 million deaths each year (World Health Organization, 2013).
Renee’s hypertension could also be genetics as she is only 32 years old and age would not be a factor. On the other hand, for secondary hypertension, a cause can be found. Secondary hypertension is an abnormality in the arteries supplying blood to the kidneys. Secondary hypertensions can be caused by airway obstruction during sleep, diseases, and tumors of the adrenal glands, hormone abnormalities, thyroid disease, and high intake of salt or alcohol (Different Types of Hypertension, 2009, para.3). If Renee has secondary hypertension, these could be the causes. Isolated systolic hypertension occurs when the systolic pressure rises over 140. This kind of hypertension is mostly seen in the elderly, caused by the loss of elasticity in the arteries. This hypertension is more critical that diastolic pressure as it links to cardiovascular disease (Different Types of Hypertension, 2009, para.5). Malignant hypertension is very rare, however, is more common in younger adults, African-American men, and women who have pregnancy toxemia. This type of hypertension occurs when there is a sudden rise in blood pressure. Malignant

This is a high risk factor because physical activity has many positive effects on the body, such as helping to prevent insulin resistance, it helps build heart muscles, lowers systolic pressure, and it gets the blood going. Low potassium and low calcium intake increase blood pressure because both potassium and calcium play a role in regulating blood pressure. So without the two, blood pressure is not regulated properly. These things over time can accumulate to the formation of Primary hypertension. Secondary hypertension can be caused by and previous disease that a patient that can lead them to develop high blood pressure. Disease such as those that affects the any body systems that helps with the regulations of blood pressure. To two most common diseases that can affect blood pressure is kidney disease and congenital heart defect. The kidney has a big role when it comes to regulating blood pressure and salt levels. If the kidneys aren’t able to function properly, it the regulation of salt to be done incorrectly and the blood will not be filtered. This will lead to the blood carrying a lot of extra substance with it that aren’t in use while adding new substances that is needed
What is the Global Political Economy? According to O’Brien & Williams (2010) this is a term used to describe the interrelationship between national and international, politics and economics. It basically shows the interplay of powerful states, regions, and global institutions which fall under the realm of politics with global trade, global finance, investing and capital movements comprising economics. This ideology does not look at politics and economics in isolation but it draws from other fields such as geography, sociology, women studies and history as these disciplines play an important role in explaining how politics and economics interrelate (O'Brien & Wlilliams, 2010). Nevertheless, the question is where China stands within this global political economy. Hobden (2008) stated that “China is awakening from a slumber that has lasted half a millennium” he believed that in the past China was not considered as one of those countries that actively played a role in global affairs, however; over the last two decades this has all changed. Although this essay will be drawing from examples of China, showcasing its emergence as one of the fastest growing economies in this global atmosphere; its main aim is to evaluate the merits and demerits of two important ideologies in the study of the international political economy, that of Economic Nationalism and Liberalism.
Website would of course not exist without the invention of the internet, which came out in the 1960s. It was first only allowed to be used by the government so they could efficiently transfer data from one computer to another. It is said that the first website was made sometime in August of 1981. (Arandilla, 2011) The first free web browser program for public use was released in the 1990s and was called Mosaic. HTML is split up into five generations, HTML being the first version and HTML5 being the latest version out. HTML coding was first introduced in the early 1990s, but it didn’t give web developers a lot of room to be creative since they were limited by how slow the internet was when it first came out, also because it was brand new and so only basic coding was in HTML. When web developers began to start making their own coding to help them become more free and creative, so in order to have a universal HTML coding the next version came out being HTML 2. Now the internet is faster and more coding mean more control and creativity web designers can be. In 1995 HTML 3 was released and many new additions came out as well. Microsoft released Internet Explorer and designers can now input animated images called “.gif” in thei...
Within this report is information on how Java Script is used on the Internet. This report will contain information that will help you learn about Java Script and its uses on the Internet. The design of the Web site is very bright and appealing to the eye. Its layout is inviting and easy to navigate. Its design is consistent through all pages. There are many graphics including, photographs, illustrations, and animated buttons and GIFs. These graphics are placed in an orderly fashion and do not create a cluttered appearance. The site has its own search engine which assists in navigating throughout the site.
The now worldwide distribution of the disease has made dengue able to cause more illness and death than any other arbovirus disease. The increased distribution in the last 30 years has significant social and global implications. The fact that dengue has a low fatality rate makes surveillance of the disease more difficult, which causes dengue to be regularly undetected or misdiagnosed as another arboviral. The prevalence of dengue fever is often underestimated, which is highly inefficient because epidemics of dengue often cause social and economic disorder. Without accurate estimates of disease estimates, the cost of treatment and vector control is inaccurate, and less people will be able to be treated. Also, the communities with outbreaks of the disease are often ill prepared and unequipped to handle multiple disease
Web Design is the process of creating, making, and developing websites. It includes many different features such as webpage layout, webpage content, and also graphic designs. In general web design and web development work together, but the term web design is an actual category of web development. The main way of creating websites is building it from scratch using HTML language; which stands for Hypertext markup language. Web designers build websites using HTML tags that define the content of each page. The layout of the webpage and the appearance of all the elements will be built by using CSS; which stands for Cascading Style sheets. Therefore, all of the websites are being of combination of HTML and CSS files to define of how the page going to appear to the client or user. Many web designers prefer to build a web page starting from scratch by typing HTML and CSS codes, and others they prefer using a software for building and designing these webpages. Some of these soft wares to build and design websites are Dream Weaver which is mostly being used on MAC operating system or WordPress and Joomla which makes it easier for the web designer to design the webpage using the templates that these software already have listed, when the designer choose which template to use the software will automatically build the HTML and CSS files to create that template which also saves time and energy of writing those codes. In the following we going to point out the basics of web designing by using HTML and CSS files and show the steps to create HTML template, heading tags, HTML lists, create paragraphs and break tags, create CSS file, CSS rules, Font sizes, color, style, and adding images, hyperlinks, and CSS layouts.
