I would like to be a video editor because I think it would be a great experience. It would help me make videos much better looking for an audience. I would love this as a lifetime job and do editing for big businesses like FOX or YouTube, things like that. I want to be a video editor because I have always fantasized of being a big person and doing a job with computers. I love working and making films better. I used to make videos better for people when I lived in Houston.
Video editing has gone a long way in technology. It has come from just putting pieces of a film together into adding sound effects, adding filters and adding captions or pictures into the film. I would love to be in as a video editor as it advances in time. I want to see it evolve and become something better than it is now. I can’t wait for my turn in film editing history.
Some video editors become famous themselves by just uploading edited films on to websites for people to see. Most video editors get a degree in video editing to get a job on a movie set. A lot of video editors work with raw footage, not touched, and make them look better right before it gets broadcasted to the world. I bet these video editors have a lot of stress but I think I will be able to handle it. Most video editing is done on a computer. Most jobs related to this career is found on movie sets, television shows and even on YouTube.
The main purpose for a film editor is to just edit videos, which is self-explanatory, mostly for themselves or for a big company. They also have to get their own equipment which is time and money consuming. They also need to be good with computers and very patient. They have to be patient because some jobs are very long. It is easy making money as a video editor because of how many clients are hiring right now. Most of these jobs are in the Texas area. Going to school for video editing is very good for getting more clients because a lot of the professors recommend their students to other people. I think it would be very fun as well.
I would say that this is the perfect career for me. My love for working computers is going to fit in perfectly with this career. The salary is pretty good. The training opportunities are very easy to find. The probability of finding a job in the Lubbock area is very high. I think I might get a very high amount of money before I retire as well. Yes, I still would like this career.
