It also doesn't help that coaches and parents also push way too hard. The article claims, “Parents tend to think everyone is going to the Olympics.” Since parents think that, they push hard on their kids to win. Parents may not realize it, but they start pushing and pushing so hard, their child has nothing left emotionally and physically.
