What drives you?
The knowledge that I have the ability to change the world around me for good is what drives me. I can make an impact on people by simply doing what I love. Yes, people are impressed by skill and talent, but what makes someone want to go out and make a difference? What makes a person want to change the world? I believe that an example of pure passion is what inspires others to change their ways, to support something, and to make an impact on others. The simplest way to make a positive change in the world is to be the person that is so passionate about what he or she does that others simply cannot help but become passionate about it too.
My passion is for the arts. The arts make people think; it makes people feel something that could change their future behaviors forever. And for me, it drives me to make my impact on the world through it. I practice art by exercising my skills in photography and graphic design, and then by sharing the outcome online. Coupled

This is what I wondered too, before I knew about and became fascinated with conceptual photography. I came across several photos that changed me forever. I learned about conceptual photography and began to explore that for several months before actually trying it out myself. I used what I had and created some self portraits that conveyed a whole message. I created a series of images that communicated how someone can drown in their thoughts even while they look perfectly fine to the world around them. This drove me to continue to practice my passion and to share it with those on my social media platform.
Today, I continue to practice photography, and I have recently been learning about digital design. I feel that design gives power to the artist in the same way that photography does. I plan to further my education in both art forms by continuing to take classes at school and by learning online from other
Given away by my name, I am not an American; I was born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam - a dynamic city with over nine million people squeezed into roughly the size of south Bay Area. It was towards the end of my third year of high school that my family immigrated to the U.S. Leaving my hometown behind, at seventeen, I started a new chapter of my life.
Although I am a fairly well-rounded student outside of school, I focus on the passions I am adept at: art and music. Creativity and thinking outside the box are skills that I have possessed and have developed over the years. It gives me great joy when I use my artistic and musical talents for the benefit of others, such as playing the piano and violin at a dinner honoring senior citizens or drawing pictures for young children at a Bible camp. Their smiles in appreciation of my service are priceless. My drive for excellence in my passions show that I give one hundred percent in all that I
Throughout my adult life, my passion has been to help others. I have always been driven to make the world we live in a better place, even if it is just for that one person. My passion and drive have been the influencing factors in my personal history, my interest in Therapeutic Recreation and my academic and career goals.
My high school is completely project-based. We've designed restaurants, traveled to Mars, redone the trials of Exxon-Valdez and Bhopal, and had our own Olympics. All of our academic subjects integrate into the projects. In 11th grade, second trimester, the assignment was to build and maintain a utopian society on Mars. As part of the project, I was asked to define the value system of my group's utopia by ranking the importance of ten qualities that make a successful city, including health care, pollution, transportation, education, housing, entertainment, and others. I wondered how I would even begin.
The life I have had so far has taught me a lot about academic and life skills; from when I was about six to the age I am now. I am always learning and happy to learn new things. I might not know what I want right now, but I do know that I want something for my life; I want to go to college, so I could make the future I see happen. As you 're reading this you 're probably asking yourself why? Why does going and graduating college mean so much to her? What makes her different from all the others? Well, to answer all those questions you would have to continue reading as I explain some of the moments in my life, in which they brought me to the conclusion that I have to go to college.
In conclusion, my passion is music I am music. There is nothing else in life I rather be doing weather it is playing every key on a piano, or being compared to the great Mozart in a ceremony one day. There is nothing else I rather
My present interest in art is more graphic/typography based, although I do enjoy all areas of art. I have been designing graphics on my computers from a young age and have work published in national magazines. Not all the graphical work I do is computer based, I enjoy using traditional mediums in a clean graphical way, as I find it more satisfying working on a larger scale and producing something more "real". My current course has helped me "branch out" more; I have experimented in many disciplines successfully producing paintings, pastels and drawings, which I had never really developed fully before.
Please tell us about a passion (professional or personal) you have had thus far in your life.
Such a simple question. Why am I here? Such a simple question, but I never asked it. Why am I here necessarily? What made me want to come here? What drove me to college? Was it for me? Was it for the people around me? All these questions seem to have flew over my head. Many people say that they are going to college to be a doctor, or a teacher, or an athletic trainer. But, why exactly are we heading to college? Are we heading to college because we truly want more education, or does society tell us that successful people attend and graduate from college? I took all these questions into consideration, just so I get the most accurate reason as to why I’m here in college.
Then I struck an interest in photography once it combined with my other interest which was cars and people. After I saw these amazing pictures of vehicles being driven through scenery, I went ahead and created my own twitter page to post my own pictures of cars which has grown to 4,500+ followers. This enlarged my interest to move onto other pictures such as portraits, like when people take pictures at the beach and get a photo of them jumping in the air, it's called an action picture. All in all i've always been interested in photography since my dad bought my family our first camera in
Graphic design has the power to change the way we perceive the world and this is where my passion stems from. I have always had a fascination with visuals and the creative process, graphic design has given me an outlet to pursue this passion. Graphic design to me is essentially a language for living, its not only used to communicate an idea but to make peoples lives easier and I love that I can contribute towards that. I get an immense amount of gratification from developing an idea to its full potential through aspects such as advertising, packaging, branding and visualisation.
In my past time, I read, practice piano, and practice ballet. I’ve been participating in piano and ballet for seven years now and I still think I’m just adequate at them. My mom forced me to start reading at a young age this caused my passion and love towards books some of my favorites are Blood Meridian, Gone Girl, and To Kill a Mockingbird.
I believe that everyone has a passion for something. Something that really drives you, that gets you excited and...well its a hard feeling to describe. But my passion is for learning. I think my passion for learning really started a few years ago... one of my best friends, passionate about ecology taught me something about myself. I wanted to learn everything about the world and though he may never realized it... it made a huge impact on my life and i began my quest to get to know as much as i could about life. As corny as it sounds *smile* I cant get enough of philosophy, i cant get enough of learning certain things along the lines of philosophy and ancient civilizations. I believe powerfully in the power of the mind and body.

I watched daily, rather I measured daily, how the white and lightly lavender tinted flowers slowly germinated in my biology class, emanating in a slumped state and slowly gathering its strength to stand on its own. Like the flowers, I found that as a little girl I grew up in a slumped state, obscured from the world of English and oblivious to what I wanted to become when I grow up. But as time slowly evolved I found that my devouring passion for learning and my interest in medicine sprung from the seeds of patient that were deeply planted in me.
