Collective impact assist with social and educational issues in a community. “Collective impact aims to shift responsibility for improvement in outcomes from individual organizations to entire systems that affect the lives of people in a particular location.” (Karp & Lundy-Wagner, 2015). A backbone organization manages the daily operations in a collective impact. The daily operations include communication with stakeholders and collecting date. Klempin (2016) defined a backbone organization as “An entity that functions independently as a centralized management team for partnership efforts.” Backbone organizations has been listed as one of the factors a positive collective impact possess. Backbone organizations are not tasked with setting the outline for the organizations. Their job is to help enforce it. Backbone organizations don’t make decisions, instead they give advice on options/resolutions to resolve issues. Backbone organizations are not in charge of funding. (Finish here & CITE). Turner, Merchant, Kania, & Martin (2012) list four factors that can affect backbone organization’s performance: (1) Phase of the collective impact-role of backbone organizations when it comes to ideas/proposals. (2) Capacity- what will be the backbone organization’s make up (resources, number of staff) (3) Reach and scope of the collective impact-what neighborhoods/regions will backbone organizations focus on. “These outcomes are selected by partnerships from across the cradle to career continuum and are reported on regularly to ensure accountability to the community and effective alignment of community resources.” (www.strivetogether.org). The six core outcome areas are: (1) Kindergarten readiness-children begin learning the basics: letters, numbers, and social interaction that prepares them for kindergarten. (2) Early grade reading-data shows that children not up to their proper reading level in the 3rd grade, never catch up. (3) Middle grade math-students who complete middle grade math excel in high school math. (4) High school graduation-research shows graduating high school can determine factors like mortality, health and crime. (5) Post-secondary enrollment-students should have access to institutional information needed to make decisions. The information should include two-year colleges and technical schools. (6) Post-secondary degree completion-those that obtain a degree ae healthier and have a longer life expectancy. (www.strivetogether.org). Strive Together encourages communities to record outcomes and make changes to ensure all areas/outcomes are met. This ensures that every child has

A measurable postsecondary goal is an outcome that occurs after the person has left high school. When writing post-secondary goals in the IEP, it is similar to the process of writing annual IEP goals. Language should indicate the outcome, when it occur and how it is measured. It is measurable if it is stated in a manner that can be counted as occurring or not occurring. Statements that indicate what a student “will” do indicate measurable postsecondary goals. Statements that indicate that a student “plans to” or “hopes to” or “will investigate” do not indicate measurable postsecondary goals. The differences between annual goals and post-secondary goals is that post-secondary goals are written for what will occur after
meeting educational, health, social service, and parental needs. “Head Start also wants to help bring about a greater degree of social competence in these children (Mallory and Goldsmith, 2002).” The program has met a goal of impacting child development and day care services, and the increasing availability of services offered to low-income families and their children (US Department of Health and Human Services, 2002).
Incredible activity and effective organization are reliably the key of accomplishment in any affiliation so both of these are the capacities which setting off one beside the other without organization a better than average power can

My immediate goals after completing this program is to take some time off from school, pay off our (additional) student loans, and when the time is right possibly evaluate the feasibility of pursuing my Bachelor Degree in Healthcare Administration or continue on in trying to obtain my Master 's Degree in Nursing. However, I currently foresee immediate challenges to those plans - my eldest child, my son, is currently a junior in high school, aspiring to become a Pharmacist and attend UH Hilo. In addition, my daughter, who is three years younger to my son, is aspiring to become an Ophthalmologist. So as with any parents, I may put my goal aside to help both my children achieve their goals.

Success can be measured in multiple ways, depending on the person and on the circumstances. I entered into the accelerated nursing program with the goal of successfully completing the required courses and ultimately becoming a successful nurse. This program is very fast-paced and requires a lot of time and effort in order to be successful, so it is important to create a plan in order to successfully complete the program with the appropriate knowledge and skills. Included in my plan for success are multiple strategies that I will apply every day for the duration of this program. My plan is to make my nursing
I hope to be able to instill these values in my son as he grows up to make his own choices. In choosing to return to school after eleven years I hope to improve my own: intellectual wellness by challenging my mind, my emotional wellness by bettering myself, and interpersonal wellness by improving my relationships with the people closest to me. The support from my family and friends has been invaluable in my returning to school. I feel that by making these positive changes I am setting a good example for my son.
Organizations can be configured in many different ways. Their overall classifications can be summarized by characteristics of complexity within the system, the level of formalization, and the centralization of decision-making power. The structure of each organization is influenced by many factors. Such factors include; the goods and services provided, the overall individuality of the staff providing the service and producing the products. The overall beliefs and values of the individuals performing the services that are being delivered, the technology that is utilized to help deliver the services and aid in product production, as well as the needs, desires, and generalized characteristics of the consumer population that requires or demand the product or service. (Yoder-Wise, 2007, p. 145) The organization will have different operating priorities based on its ownership. The main goal behind most business is to make money. The private owned institution strives to make its shareholders money, while a non-profit institution reinvests all of its revenue back into the orga...

I have three specific goals that I intend to reach, which are to graduate high school, graduate college, and be successful in my career after college. To start, I plan to graduate high school. Although I am very near to attaining this goal, as I am in my last year of high school, it is an extremely important goal to me. In order to achieve this goal, I, as I have done throughout my time as a student, plan to study hard and strive to succeed in the classroom.
