Yamaha corporation group Ltd is a Japanese public limited company established in 1887 by Torakusu Yamaha which started producing reedorgans.Since that, Yamaha has grown to be the world largest manufacturer of musical instruments and audio/visual products. It expands their products to conclude computer related products, appliances of home industrial robots, electronic devices…..etc. In 1955, Yamaha Motor Company founded and upon separation from Yamaha Corporation and headquarter is in Iwata, Shiznoka, Japan. It makes motorized products such as motorcycles, outboard motors and also marine products….etc. The Yamaha logo consists of a triple of interlocking tuning forks enclosed in a circle that reflects the origins of company as a musical instrument manufactures.

Each year in April at the start of the period, Yamaha Corporation and Yamaha Group companies regularly hold a Group-wide Health and Safety Convention, attended by managers and employees in charge of occupational health and safety. At the Convention, there is a general overview of health and safety activities in the previous fiscal year, confirmation of policy and activities for the current fiscal year as well as targets for preventing occupational accidents. A total of 286 people participated in the regular Group-wide Health and Safety Convention held in April 2013. In addition, each business location and Group company formulates action topics, objectives and plans in light of these contents.

YakkaTech Corp. is growing IT services firm which mainly installs and upgrades enterprise software systems and related hardware. They have grown and consolidated as well as become more efficient at their business but this isn’t without growing pains. Their employees seem to lack job satisfaction and their customers feel that the employees “seem indifferent to their problems.” The company’s voluntary quit rates have risen above the industry average while management raises pay rates in the hopes that customer service quality and productivity would improve. However, customer service complaints and productivity remain low and employee moral seems to be low as well.

Spokane Industries has contracted Franklin Electronics for an 18 month product development contract. Franklin Electronics is new to using project management methodologies and has not been exposed to earned value management methodologies. Even though Franklin and Spokane have worked together in the past, they have mainly used fixed-price contracts with little to no stipulations. For this project, Spokane Industries is requiring Franklin Electronics to use formalized project management methodologies, earned value cost schedules, and schedules for reports and meetings. Since Franklin Electronics had no experience with earned value management, the cost accounting group was trained in the methodology in order to bid for the project.

The concept of organisational culture emerged in the early 1980s as a topic of major concern to administrators and researchers in higher education (Ramachandran & Chong & Ismail, 2011). It is a system of shared assumptions, values, and beliefs, which governs how people behave in the organisations. These shared values have a strong influence on the people in the organisation and dictate how they dress, act, and perform their jobs (Study.com, n.d.). Employee Stress & Productivity and Diversity in the Workplace are two elements that have derived from Organisational Culture. This report will be addressing the two issues and how to solve the issues at hand.

I have discussed major safety topics including road and work safety and their effect in our daily living. We can’t evade from danger. The importance is that we learn to control and avoid factors that can cause us harm, injury or loss. This starts by making smart decisions. We should continue to teach our children to detect unsafe situations, places, things, and elements at an early age so that they practice safety habits throughout their life.
